It’s a sad sad update
Just so sad. HeartbreakingView attachment 542936
This is the last photo that Sarah Cunningham shared on social media. It was taken during a trip to Seoul, South Korea
'In a update today, the Met Police said that a body had been found at nearby Chalk Farm Underground Station just after 1am on Monday morning - nearly 48 hours after she vanished.![]()
Police hunting for missing artist Sarah Cunningham find body on tracks
The Met Police previously confirmed that the last sighting of Sarah Cunningham was at around 3am on Jamestown Road, Camden, on November 2.www.dailymail.co.uk
Although the body has not been formally identified, Ms Cunningham's family have been made aware.
A spokesman for the Met said: 'Police had appealed for sightings or information about Sarah Cunningham, 31, who was reported missing after she was last seen at around 03:00hrs on Saturday, 2 November in Jamestown Road, Camden.
'At around 01:11hrs on Monday, 4 November emergency services were called to reports of a casualty on the tracks at Chalk Farm Underground Station.'
'The death is being treated as unexpected but at this time it is not thought to be suspicious.'
I saw report that the person getting into a car was not Sarah but someone else. This is awfully sad. Rest in peace Sarah
The whole situation raises questions in my mind, but I'm sure we'll find out more in the fullness of time. What I can't understand is the fact Sarah got in a car headed for Islington, but ended up on Chalk Farm, which is in the opposite direction to Islington. I hope her family and loved ones get the answers they need for their own peace of mind.
The police confirmed it was not Sarah getting into the car: From a daily mail article 'Previous appeals for information had suggested Ms Cunningham was spotted getting into a dark Vauxhall car with a man at around 3am, heading to Islington, but police investigated this and concluded it was a different woman'This is awfully sad. Rest in peace Sarah

Body found in search for missing artist, 31, last seen leaving flat block at 3am
ETA that there's quite a gap between her disappearance and the discovery of her body. I wonder where she was all that time, and how police can be sure nothing suspicious occurred to cause her death.

But my understanding is that she left the block of flats in the small hours of Saturday and her body was found on the tracks at Chalk Farm station (actually at the station according to MSM) in the small hours of Monday. It doesn't seem plausible to me that she lay undiscovered there for almost 48 hours, with the trains still running normally. I feel she must have spent at least some of that time elsewhere.I suspect due to the close proximity of where she departed, block of flats at Jamestown Rd, and some train lines that aren't quite chalk farm but a short distance, she ran out and took her own life. That could explain why LE were not asking for help or publishing images. It's probably taken until this morning for identification to be legally formalised by professionals who do Monday - Friday type jobs. JMO. All sounds very cold and clinical, not intended to sound so.
Heartbreaking![]()
Agreed. And I totally understand why my post about it was removed. Obviously this is why the police appeal was minimal. This is so terribly sad. Poor Sarah. The report of her getting in a car must have been a false rumour / misunderstanding. It was never a verified fact or published on MSM news except as a repeated idea from a non verified source.

So for me, it comes back to wondering where she was in that time window, who she was with, and what happened for things to play out in the way that they did. I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist but I think it's early to be declaring this non-suspicious.There are always so many engineering works/station closures happening at the weekend, so I thought it might have been a case of Chalk Farm station being closed, hence why it took so long to find the body. I then came across this MyLondon article which states that the person "was killed on the tracks at around 1am. The emergency services were called to the casualty on the tracks at 1.11am" this morning (Monday).
If this report is to be believed, Sarah was alive and missing for nearly 24 hours before her tragic death?

Indeed. Exactly this! Some time ago I was recommended to watch Unsolved Netflix case of Tiffany Valaint. I went cold reading this outcome this morning. Please not again. So for me, it comes back to wondering where she was in that time window, who she was with, and what happened for things to play out in the way that they did.
