If I we can be subjected to ENDLESS commercials for Cialis, Viagra, Enzyte, et al
then certainly this PSA, though racy, should be OK. It is bringing a more modern awareness to a very important issue. I have no problem with it.

I like the saying "Save the ta-tas" better, LOL. IMO it is not any worse than a Van Halen video, LOL.

This pretty much says it all imo. If we have guys watching an entire breast cancer awarenss PSA we've got something there.
My dh has it endless loop.

Lol! You all have made me laugh. I really hate bringing this up but last yr at 33 yrs old I was diagnoised with breast cancer. I'm pretty conserative but I think this commercial is great and is attention getting. People don't realize how many young women it effects, it's an epidemic. Heck even men get breast cancer, a lot of people don't realize that. I do want to add that I really didn't like the end when she's in the pool, I thought that the point was made with out that though.

Works for me! I don't find the ad racy or "low" at all. Do what it takes for awareness. For *any* perky age group. It's the beginning of what all young woman and older women should know. Our are a part of us. No matter how high or how low (gravity sucks), we ladies need to be part of support and care. For ourselves and our sister's.

BTW, I can do that "bob" walking thing. Just keep a safety space of 3 feet away.

so many women have lost 1 or both ....and it says "let's save a boob"....

It would be like saving a man's testicles or prostate....they lose more than just "that" when they have cancer.

Maybe I'm wrong but let's see how many husbands start asking the wife when the last time was she had a mammogram???

Do wives ask their husbands if they exam themselves?

It features this guy 'Cam' who is all smarmy and loser-esque in his offering to exam women's breasts, claiming to be 'highly motivated' and asking women to 'put your breasts in my hands.' The message of the ad is that women should be doing self-exams every month.

If this wasn't such a serious issue I wouldn't give a hoot. (not that I like the way that EVERYTHING is sexualized these days).
But this ad seems to be sending the message that women need to look after their , not because of the health risks, but so that men can OGLE them. :furious:

I wonder how women who have had BC and had mastectomies feel about this. Many women in that position already feel like their femininity has been taken away- this ad reinforces that.

I'm shocked and disgusted.

My Mom and 2 friends of mine have all had breast cancer, one of my friends at 26. I say if anyone sees this and thinks about it, male or female, than it is a good thing!
