The woman is named Ashley Dillard and is believed to be in danger, police say.

Our crew spoke with Ashley's mother, Tracy, who said one of Ashley's sisters got a bizarre call on Feb. 8th saying that Ashley told them to call her family and say "your sister Ashley was at this address and someone needs to call 911" and hung up.

Officials went to the location, which turned out to be an apartment complex, Tracy said.

They found the original caller, and she told officials she saw Ashley get into a a blue car with some man.

Since then, her Facebook has been hacked, and the unidentified male is the suspect, her mother said.

The family has tried to get into contact with him unsuccessfully.

Details are limited at this time, but if anyone has any information on Miss Dillard's whereabouts, they are asked to call Easley Police at (864) 859-4025.

I believe her name is misspelled in the title line.

This is very twisted. I hope she is okay.
ETA Who is "our crew?"

Can the family report this to facebook and have the police check him out?

This doesn’t look like high velocity spatter. More like when you cut your finger and blood is dripping down.
Yep, on the carpet surrounding the phone you can see the blood droplets.
And it is blood IMO

One of the males (sorry guys) on JC's thread said (back when we were still searching for JC) that, depending on how it is uploaded , someone could be located based on a FB photo?

Comments on the sister's page are interesting regarding how these photos may have been uploaded.

Do you mean EXIF viewer? If so, Facebook strips the EXIF data unfortunately. I did a reverse image search using Google and didn't get any matches for the phone photo.

PommyMommy, I think that is what I read.
I'm sorry about the gender mistake?
Should have known it was you
You know every damn thing!

Oh no, it wasn't me! I installed it after reading about it, though. I wish I could remember who it was too! :p

Distinctive wall color behind his photo - anybody looking for a photo with similar background?

I can't even do that.

I am not seeing it spelled any other way. Even her sister has it spelled the same.

It's been corrected now - I noticed it too. The last name was spelled "Dilliard" in the thread title. It's all good! :)

So freaking smart and sleuthy....i want to be more like you! Not a good sign if he actually took this photo, no matter what it was.
All these posts on both their pages were uploaded at the same time and weird how they are centered on phones. I don't know if those lead me to believe he just happened to buy her phone tho. They are all too ominous sounding imo

Wow. That's nuts. If that guy did something to her why would he be so stupid as to take a pic of himself and post it on her profile? I hope she's ok. It sounds like she doesn't have a stable living situation so that would just make her more vulnerable to creeps and weirdos.
He was using her phone to access Facebook not realizing it.
I think he smashed the wrong phone!
Karma!
:p

Almost like sero- sangiunous blood isn't it?
If this isn't a hoax, maybe she is still alive!
Fingers crossed!

Sleuthy, lol! :p Hopefully police have tracked this guy down and are getting some answers about those photos. Fingers crossed. Time's a wastin'.

I am also curious about the woman who called Ashley's sister. Ashley apparently told her to call her family but how did this woman know who Ashley's sister was, let alone her phone number? And, just to be clear, I don't suspect this woman has anything to do with Ashley's disappearance. It's just curious to me.
