This is breaking on wspa.com and foxcarolina . Com. The police responded to a camper on fire and found 2 people inside who were murdered. I’ve got a pic that’s too large to load.

Sgt. J.T. Foster with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office said deputies and fire crews responded to a home on Cedar Grove Road Saturday for a camper on fire.

Inside the home, crews found a male and female who were both dead with gunshot wounds.

They have updated on foxcarolina .com to say they are looking for a person of interest, Mckenzy Maxine Carey aka; Trudy, and still searching for that van. They must have some info on what may have happened.

foxcarolina.com reports that due to someone connected to this case being related to someone who works in the sheriff’s office, the investigation is being handed to SLED, the state law enforcement agency, due to conflicting interests. I’m not sure what to expect now.

wspa.com is reporting that there are 2 persons of interest in custody across the state line in GA and they were found to have a gun that’s consistent with the one used in these murders. They are 27 yr old Lester Piercefield and 20 YO Payton Call.
