I could be wrong, but I believe those were, in fact, the initial contacts, when they were trying to find Brittanee immediately after she went missing. Those statements came from the police report from that Sunday, 4/26. Obviously those contacts would have to be by telephone because they were no longer in MB. I don't think the other option at that early of a stage was a good option, namely that instead of making immediate contact with the boys they wait until such time as LE could get up to NY to interview them.

What I am curious to know is if LE ever followed up with them and interviewed them. I am just curious how we know it wasn't done in the days/weeks/months/years since Brittanee went missing. I'm not too hung up on those initial reports because time was off the essence at that point

Dawn has repeatedly said she would like actual interviews done. RPD wouldn't do them to avoid "stepping on toes" and MBPD didn't come to Rochester. It has always been something Dawn has asked & said she wanted from the beginning & repeatedly.

Minus the fact that Club K wasn't Friday as stated in the LE reports, it was Thursday. I know this to be fact from the research I did originally on the case on the "friends" FB pages. Those reports are FILLED with incorrect info.

Would you happen to have an easily accessible link to the police reports. I remember seeing the initial one that had scant information in it. Girls switched hotels etc... And I remember seeing a 2nd on but am having a hard time recalling what was in it. If you are aware of any others besides those 2, I'd love to read them too because I know I haven't seen them.

My link above has them, but they're very hard to read. http://answersforbrittaneedrexel.blogspot.com/

Where are you getting that LE has cleared anyone? MBPD have repeatedly said that nobody has been cleared.

They definitely said it. They have also said no one has been cleared. It was quotes in articles. Maybe even that ID program. I can try to find it again if needed, though I don't think it's necessary. I would suggest no one should be cleared, including PB.

I have followed this case closely, spoken to family directly, and LE. Not once have I heard PB excluded in anyway.

How do we know neither RPD nor MBPD have don it? Not doubting you, but I don't recall seeing any MBPD statements to the effect that "We haven't interviewed anyone from Rochester because we don't see the need to." or anything resembling that.

Thanks Caring4many.

Many thanks SD. Is the whole hour and a half devoted to Brittanee? While I hope so, I stopped watching until I have that kind of time. I did notice though they already had facts wrong in the first 30 seconds, saying she was last seen at Bar Harbor. :banghead: A friendly reminder to take all media with a grain of salt. Well, all statements regardless of source truthfully.

Lol do you really think they're going to put that in the media? That would awfully irresponsible to do. No offense reedus23 but read up on the case more. Like I said there's a lot of info posted from Dawn-she's even released open letters on more than one occasion. It is very helpful to read them and the statements she makes in articles as well.

Thanks again SD. I was able to read it. Had to strain with my eyes going bad (yepp, getting old) but I could read it. So the FB pictures or something said it was earlier than Friday? Like I said, I don't really do the social media stuff. Never read any of the demeaning comments the boys made. I heard enough to know they're worthless individuals without having to read the actual comments.

Dang. Wish I would have kept reading first. Much easier to read. Many thanks Caring.

Not a problem-but keep in mind, it's obvious they either all "confused" their days or planned to give the wrong info. There were photos on a website initially that did photography for Club K, dated for Thursday. The site deleted them when media went national. There were also FB status's that showed the dates were wrong. Especially if you note the day that Britt was on video with the boy from out of town in his hotel room. (He was not from the Rochester groups) There's no way she was going both.

I'm not with my notes right now, but I'm fairly certain I recall writing that down. When I get back to my notes I'll see if I can find where it came from and link it up. In fact, I'm tempted to go get my notes because now I feel bad if I misspoke. Either way, though, I'd say even if LE said it, it's meaningless because they've certainly said otherwise as well.

Speaking of LE, I could be completely wrong about this, but for some reason as I was reading through the threads, I got the distinct impression that the only time there was ever any movement on the case or LE doing something visible to the public was only when big events (birthdays/anniversaries) came around. Just one of those things I made a note to go back and look at the dates of major events to see if there was any truth to it.

From experience working missing cases, I think media appears that way because the only way you can get coverage is with an event, anniversary, or LE asking for coverage due to needing publics help or they have a new lead. Otherwise there isn't coverage. Sadly missing persons need to fight for that coverage.

Obviously I don't think they'd say that caring and that's why I was asking how it is we would know. Since posting that, I have read that you are in touch with Ms. Drexel so now I know where your information comes from. I am sure i will get around to reading her letters, but I'm making my way through all these threads first. Where can I find the letters? Are they collected on their website?

Yepp, don't doubt that the days are wrong and assuming all of that is accurate (FB and Club K), which I presume it is, they were wrong about it being Friday. Not sure what that means for me personally but it certainly doesn't seem to be Friday.

Has Moody ever agreed to speak to LE? I was trying to search for any info on it and the best I could get was a reporter trying to ask him a question and him saying "Here's my response." and hanging up.

4:10 Red Sox game starts
8:15 BD seen on cam walking to Blue Water
8:31 Red Sox game ended
8:48 BD leaves PB's hotel
8:57 JG texts BD telling her to make the best of it
8:58 BD texts JG saying, "F" that, I'm packing and going to bed.
9:06 Text to BD asking if back from Myrtle Beach yet
9:15 JG text saying he's concerned
9:27 BD's phone pings near Surfside
9:53 BD's phone pings tower at 209 Firehouse St (Georgetown)
9:54 BD's phone pings the same tower
9:56 Text to BD asking where she is
9:57 Another text to BD asking where she is
10:00 JG text saying he will call her mom if he doesn't hear from her
11:00 PB and friends to a "college" party
11:58 BD's phone pings tower 332 (7 Mile Road?)
1:00 PB and friends return to Rochester
4:51 JH files missing persons report

I was trying to put my own timeline of known facts together. Does this look accurate? Anything need altering/removal/adding? TIA As an aside, and I'm sure this has been discussed before, and again correct me if I'm wrong, but if my math is right, BD had to have been taken somewhere within about 500 feet of that camera location. LE said it takes 15 minutes to make the walk from Blue Water to the camera location. The average human walks 3 miles/hour (5,280 feet/60 minutes or 88 feet/minute). She left Blue Water at 8:48 and sent the last text at 8:58. That accounts for 10 of those minutes. In 5 minutes, a person would walk 440 feet at the above rate. Working backwards, that means the abduction occurred within 440 feet of that camera location assuming pace and continuous walking. Probably spent time working out the math that's been done 1000 times already, but does that sound right?
