Zachary Hughes has entered the courtroom for sentencing. When he entered, he looked at his parents and mouthed, "thank you" before sitting down.
Walt Wilkins tells the court the State is seeking a life sentence for the murder. Christina Parcell's sister, Tina, is speaking.
Tina tells the judge she is exhausted after the events of yesterday when she had to relive the two worst days of her life.
"He recounted step by step in excruciating detail everything he did. Did he cry? Did he shake? Did he look visibly distressed?" - Tina Parcell
There has been no remorse, none shown from the defendant in this courtroom.
"Without remorse there is no rehabilitation.”

There are two options: either he is a weak, easily manipulated man... or he's not. If that's the case, he will do this again.
