The Cherokee County Sheriff's office said a woman has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting last week.

Deputies said they were called to a residence on Tansi Trail in Gaffney on May 5 around 6:45 p.m. in regards to a shooting with injuries. When deputies arrived on scene, they said they found a 53-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder sitting next to the road.
