Someone at the forum posted the address of the Waffle House as 1610 White Horse Rd.

They suggested google earth, and that worked pretty well for me.

I just saw your question, sherri. I can't remember if the name was mentioned or not in reports. There have been several things I thought were mentioned but can't find them! lol :waitasec: I bet someone in the greenville forum would know. Sorry I don't know the answer!

No news yet. The mother, Amanda, is going to hold a vigil for Devon at the crime scene on Sunday evening at 8:00 p.m. General concensus in the area is that she did it. It will be interesting to see what happens at that vigil. I believe they are also looking at some video camera footage from a local area that may be interesting.

Here is a link to the greenvilleonline forum I have been following where they are talking about the memorial tomorrow. They are now saying it will be held at McDonald's at 8:00 pm instead of the crime scene.

The people on the greenvilleonline forum are also asking questions about the choice of McDonald's as a memorial site. Some have theorized that it was one of Devon's favorite places. Who knows. I don't think Amanda has a lot of problems with going to the crime scene. She was seen there alone the day after the funeral. I can't imagine having done that! I would have been terrified to go back to that site alone. There is also concern by some people at the greenvilleonline site that the community is so angry with Amanda, that someone may try to harm her. There is supposed to be a significant presence of LE at the memorial. Of course, I would have expected LE's presence to watch Amanda's reactions.

The vigil is Sunday at 8:30 at the memorial, I was geting conflicting stories. I rode by that McDonald's to find out and the flyer on the dorr said BEHIND Mcdonalds at Jacobs and frontage rds. The news told me at mcdonalds they just weren't reading the flyer right. But i saw if with my own eyes, it is Sunday 26 at8:30 pm at the memorial. I will be there, and I think Chad's family is coming also.

I didn't know that the mom went back to the murder site after the funeral. I sure couldn't have done that. I bet LE will be watching the vigil like a hawk.

Here is a repeat of a posting I just did over at Steve's site:

The sheriff in Greenville is saying the following:

"Greenville County Sheriff Steve Loftis remained optimistic today that deputies will solve the killing of 7-year-old Devon Epps, a case that begins its third week today. .....
"We are diligently working on the case and following all the leads," Loftis said. "I think there's a very good chance for solving the case." .....
The sheriff said investigators briefed him on the case Friday and will do so again Monday morning."

A lot of the discussion that is going on indicates that some people think Amanda might be arrested tonight or in the next day or two. I had sort of thought the same thing. I had thought perhaps they would arrest her either right before or right after the vigil. If I recall correctly, Chris Vaughn was arrested right before the funeral for the family he murdered.

Well, no arrest. LE was there, and they used tea lights instead of candles, but no other news - yet. If I hear anything new, I will post it here and at Steve's site ASAP.
