Maybe it was supposed to be mom and not her daughter! But Mom was not home!

Just a thought!

I think this monster got exactly who he intended to get. I think he hooked up with mom again with a specific eye on Gabbiee. He returned to the area after kidnapping and murdering the other missing girl and sought out Gabbiee's mom to renew acquaintance and insert himself back into their lives all with the eventual plan to somehow procure Gabbiee.

The arrest record of Freddie Grant reaches back almost 25 years in Florida and South Carolina. Listed below are charges; it’s unclear how they were resolved or whether he spent time in jail.

1988-1992 – Grant is arrested on multiple charges in Homestead and Miami, Fla., including: possession of cocaine with intent to sell or distribute, aggravated assault with a weapon, battery of a spouse and illegally carrying a concealed weapon.

1991-2008 – Grant is arrested on a number of charges in Richland and Kershaw counties, including: possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, shoplifting and making false insurance claims.

April 2011 – Grant is charged with criminal domestic violence against Adrianna Diana Laster, 28, of Homestead, Fla., by the Elgin Police Department. An officer at the scene saw a cut lip, bruises, welts and a long cut on her leg, which she said came from being dragged. She also said Grant poured fuel on her.

Sept. 3, 2011 – Laster is seen for last time in Elgin; her family tells police in March 2012 she is missing.

Aug. 18, 2012 – Gabrielle Swainson is reported missing by her mother.

Tuesday – Grant is arrested in Swainson’s disappearance. Lott says Grant also is being questioned in Laster’s disappearance.

I think she is mid 20s (Adrianna Diana Laster) another attractive young woman. To my eye he seems to have a physical "type"

He also served time in federal prison related to military charges. Aside from the domestic violence regarding A.Laster, these are the most concerning.. (although all of the charges scream violent sociopath)

Career criminal was the right word to describe this guy. With this extensive of a background it's not a question of 'how could this happen" but rather how could it NOT have happened?

A reporter posed the question regarding Gabbiee's mother making a plea to Freddie Grant. Lott responded; "That's up to Gabbiee's mother. I mean we're not gonna ask her to do anything what so ever like that." That's not part of what what we've got in our investigation and we would never ask her to do that. If she did that on her own and was successful and got the information then so be it. But that's not going to be at our direction and we would never ask her to do that".

8-18 - Gabbiee went missing

8-21 - Search warrant was executed for Freddie's home. This search warrant was obtained AFTER LE attempted to interview Grant. Grant never spoke to LE. Never gave a statement. So, the attempted interview took place on or before 8-21.

8-23 - Suspect seen on tape passing out flyers with Gabbiee's mother/family/friends.

8-24 - Arrest warrant issued regarding federal charges.

8-26 - Grant was taken in to custody.

Thisguy had 4 hrs to do what he did! 3am to 7am do we know where he was from 7 am on?

I think he had more than a few hrs unaccounted for!

There's only approximately 2 hours where FG is completely unaccounted for. This has something to do with his cellphone and the towers that picked up incoming attempts to reach him after GS went missing.

Sadly I think we all know that hope of finding a live Gabbiee is very thin. I believe she was dead before her mother even knew she was missing. I pray this girl did not suffer long but I fear she suffered enough before her demise.

But then at a later point that evening he was able to spend a lot more time hiding or disposing of her body?.. All before LE even had a chance to zero in on him.. As in all of this done within the first 12-24hrs..Anyone else see that as possible?

yes, this possibility concerns me but since LE were onto him so very quickly as their prime suspect, I must believe they have analysed his cell phone pings and are talking to witnesses who can give a complete timeline for him and his activities beyond and outside that morning of 2 hour window.

Well its the same thing he said today!
He said the same thing on NG last night!

the mom and Grant had met in 2007 dated broke it off and started seeing her again in 2011.

there was blood found on her bed and in other places in her bedroom.

Evidence was found at his house!

He basically said the same thing he said in the presser.

I think after all he said last night on TV he had to have a presser.

He is also possibly connected with the murder of a man in his 30's IIRC.

I wonder how he chooses (chose) his victims?

Yep, but he's not been formally charged with anything related to the shooting or in the disappearance of A.Laster. Not yet anyway. Hopefully they found something useful in his house to implicate him in both crimes.
