He is not going to tell Mom where she is.
He made it clear from the beginning he would not cooperate, and surely his lawyer will not allow her to see him. Or will prevent it somehow.

I'm actually surprised this case is on NG again considering the fact the suspect is in custody and there's no *new* information to report...

I hope it wouldn't be allowed. He'd only lie and tell her he didn't have anything to do with it. "You know I'd never do anything to hurt Gabbi." Ugh, and then the malipulation attempt to play on her emotions. This woman is barely making it, imo and she could never again talk with this man without it being detrimental to emotional well-being or sanity. She may believe him at the end of their talk, but reality would shortly take over again when thought after thought about every exactly word he said to her is recalled later at night. The schmooz of the interview would just be more BS for her to deal with. IMO

Anything?

I'm still trying to figure out why there would be duct tape in the home and across the street at the junk yard. Did he simply dispose of trash over there? Was Gabbie ever across the street? Since he had a limited amount of time did he move her there temporarily? Ugh. . .so many questions!

I wonder if there is an incinerator at the junk yard across the street (if there is such a thing normally at a junk yard).

Just so much hoping that the coming week brings Gabbiee back to her mom.

Bumping for Gabbie.

I hope LE has enough evidence against him to threaten the DP. It's the only way I see him offering up where Gabbie is. . .in exchange for taking the DP off the table. I really hate that, but I think it's possibly the only way. :(

Bump for Gabbiee. I hope something breaks soon. This case seems to be fading from the media.

Bumping for Gabbiee: It is WAY too soon for this case to drop behind in the index!

Where is Gabbiee? Any word of any searches going on or upcoming?

Just returned from out of town where we didn't have website access.

I was hoping there would be more development in poor Gabbiee's case.

bumping for this lovely gal! :please:

Took the words right from my mouth. This case certainly got quiet fast. I realize Grant won't speak and is hiding behind his right to stay silent, but why no word of searching for Gabbiee?

Grant sure as h*ll isn't going to tell where she is so are they still looking and if so - where?

BBM this puzzles me to no end. Why some evidence in home and some in junkyard? If you are getting rid of evidence, get rid of it all. Something about the fact that evidence was found both places is niggling at my brain. Some sort of theory trying to come forward.

Maybe if I stew on it a while.

Has anyone heard anymore about the gag order?? When I read that, I had to back off commenting because I probably would have gotten kicked of WS.

Coverage is fading because LE is being tight lipped at this point and the mother clearly isn't interested in keeping her daughter front & center due the public's curiosity about her relationship with Freddie Grant and her refusal to elaborate or clarify, IMHO. I'm not sure how this case will eventually unfold but I do think it's not as cut & dry as it's been made to appear thus far.

The FB page also discusses searches being done this past weekend. It sounds as if they are volunteer based searches. At least someone is still searching. I don't like how quiet coverage has gotten about this case.

bbm: Me either, tlcox! Although what I HOPE it means is that a big break is brewing ... but I fear that may not be the case. Hoping, hoping, hoping though!

<snip>

And I want to add... And this is MOO!!! I wonder if maybe mom was embarrassed about getting involved with such a 🤬🤬🤬 that she tried to hide it initially. Now I don't think that slowed down LE at all, seems to me they were on him rather quickly. It's MOO that she may have tried to keep her relationship quiet for fear of being judged. Maybe she was feeling overwhelmed with guilt that she brought this 🤬🤬🤬 into her house and wanted to hide it from the public... As long as LE was already on him. Hope that makes sense and remember it's MOO.

My opinion, too. I think you're right on. And I think that FG was born a 🤬🤬🤬. And that's my opinion.

It's so sad when we lose a person that we just know would have made a difference in the world, and I think that Gabbiee was on her way to do just that. All that potential, gone. She is a loss to all of us.

Respectfully snipped from PaigeSC post # 552 above

I do not agree - MOO - it is in no way clear that this mother is uninterested in keeping her daughter's name and face out there and further IMHO she owes the public zero info about her dating/sex or personal life. She owes that information to LE , and apparently has been forthcoming with them, as it may be relevant to their ongoing investigation, but the public. Nope.

We will have to agree to disagree as we both are pretty solid in our differing opinions and beliefs about the facts of this case.
