A permanent headstone made possible by donations from the community was set for “Baby Grace” at her resting place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway on Wednesday afternoon.

A small, tearful group gathered to remember “Baby Grace” and say a thankful blessing for her recently-placed and community-funded permanent headstone at Hillcrest Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon.

In handwritten paperwork sent to the court, Toney said she is being held unlawfully because of ineffective assistance of counsel, an involuntary plea of guilty that was unlawfully induced and a direct appeal that was not filed.

She has requested a new trial, a vacated sentence or a sentence reduction, according to the paperwork.
