Deputy Coroner Kent Dill said his office is investigating a "deceased person" at the intersection of Piney Mountain Road and North Pleasantburg Drive.

The scene was under the railroad bridge near the BI-LO shopping center.

Police said there was no foul play suspected, adding that the body had been there for a while.
