It is possible that Heather spoke badly about her ex, if she did, to give her an excuse to move in with BW and continue to focus on SM...jMo
What does everyone think of todays article on WMBF news? For real? Or just some numbnut crazies?
I think it should be taken seriously, until investigations determine otherwise.
Thoughts?
:truce:
I thought it was at 1:20. Why were the tires heard at 2:45? Did the report get the time wrong?
Hence all the inconsistencies in times throughout this case.
How is the police report off a full hour from what witnesses described on the newscast?
Why wasn't this mentioned in the WMBF report online?
Why are we only hearing about this incident today? That Jeep is probably far gone or will be out-of-sight by now! :banghead:

But if they're locals, surely their friends/family will recognize that jeep.
Terry told LE that, according to the pr, according to the myhorry articles. I have never seen anything to back this up. But, yet he's not cleared. Not understanding why.

The incident occurred early Tuesday morning at about 1:20 a.m., the report said.

On Tuesday, at approximately 1:20 p.m., a vehicle was seen in the rear parking area of the 2800 block of Howard Avenue in The Market Common.

Terry Elvis told police that at about 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, he was exiting his business on Howard Avenue at the Market Common... <snipped>
The best news I took from this article is a profiler is on their task force team.
LE needs to check out area paint/body shops cause they infer it had a matte finish. Maybe it was primer and was used right before it was to be painted. You would think.
Jeeps are fairly unique and distinguishable. It shouldn't be too hard to track down.
IMO, LE tried to find it for the past few days but didn't have any luck. That's why they released the info to the news today with a "supplied photo" of a similar Jeep.

Is it curious that a solicitor's office investigator and the U.S. Marshals Service is on board the case as well?
The first conducts investigations of pending court cases (largely) and the second assists the federal court system, hunts fugitives, protects witnesses and deals internationally and holds key positions at Interpol. The agent also has power to cross jurisictional lines while on a task force.
After studying these two entities, could it be we've been concentrating too narrowly?
Can legal eagles or LE comment regarding the named task force put together for Heather's case?
A few threads ago, someone asked if HE had any ongoing court involvements. Basically we ignored the post (sorry). HE did tweet a negative remark about going to court. Wonder why.
Just heard on WMBF News on TV that other business owners heard a revving engine and squealing tires around 2:45pm on Tuesday, shortly after TE reported the incident to LE. More details at 6pm.

IMO the inconsistencies, innuendos and weird reporting are no different than in Holly Bobo's case (that one should take an award for weirdness) and several others. So many of the cases I have followed over the years are chock-full of this stuff, which is why I don't get overly suspicious of things that don't seem to make sense, or seem to be skimmed over, etc...happens in almost every case IMO.

I'm thinking numbnut crazies, but you never can tell for sure. I'm somewhat inclined to think that maybe someone (a player in this case) put those guys up to that little "prank" if you can even call it that. I call it sick and stupid myself. I find it a little coincidental that Mr Elvis said he didn't see any registration on the vehicle (I'm assuming he meant a tag)...which makes me think this was all planned out. Tag was removed from vehicle to hopefully prevent identification, then they went and found Mr Elvis and taunted him. I don't think it would be easy to ride around on a daily basis without a tag these days. This is all just a guess though. It probably sounds crazy, but everything about this case does lately. I do hope LE investigates this situation thoroughly though, just in case there IS some truth to what those morons said.
Was the ex ever actually reported as being violent? Or did someone just tell LE he might be violent? Is there a police report on him?
I think it's most likely a sick joke. It seems like the guys must be following/reading about the case online---or know someone who knows the family--because I feel like Heather's sister's name hasn't been that publicized. Like if they were just two idiots who saw the posters around town, would they know her name?
ETA: And they also knew exactly where Terry worked. Has this information been publicized to the point where it's common knowledge to all?
According to Dateline, the video was watched by 8 million people and <snipped> was in it.

I agree for the most part. LE spoke to bW that night, yet according to MSM, according to the pR, the violent ex comment came from TE from BW. We can assume BW told TE or that LE was told this by BW and that he for got to write it in the report, but I am done operating on assumptions, you know what they say about those.
You would think.

I am not a legal pro...but US Marshalls have been used in other cases to track down and very registered sex offenders' alibis.
Thanks. If this is the case, then maybe the focus isn't solely on people who had a personal relationship with Heather.
The only examples of US marshals I can think of is their presence on airplanes after 911 and, I believe, they used to walk around Manhattan rescuing people from card shark scam artists on steet corners.
Don't ask me how I know this 'cept I'll warn, don't window shop while your husband is standing idly around. lol!
I'm pretty sure NY has cleaned up since then though.
