I am focused on them? Sorry that you got that impression, but I do not have my focus on anyone as there have been not enough facts released in the case for me to even know what happened to HE. I was only stating the facts as I have read them and a little of my opinion. I have no clue if SM's DNA would be in her car. I could not even begin to speculate. Same with the wife. It is possible that since she dated him, both of their DNA is though from months ago. It's possible that it is not. My point in everything I stated was that IF something happen to HE and IF either SM or his wife were held responsible, based on TE driving the car and it not being sealed first after he stated he knew something was wrong and knowing she last spoke to SM, the multiple harassment reports, two obstruction charges (one with a friend), IF any evidence was found in the car (either of theirs) it would get tossed, IMO. I have no doubt. They would say that he planted. I have no doubt he would never do that, even though I don't know him. But that is how these cases work. Even him just driving the car without everything else, could get argued that. The fact is, he drove the car. Cars have to be processed properly. The car could have been the crime scene and the car could have been cleaned at a car wash. Who knows. Anything is possible.
Actually even if Ms.OMM 's DNA was in the car it could be explain off through transferring from her husband .. The car is tainted to a point BUT if unknown DNA is present and is traced back to a "interested" third party that would at least point LE in a direction that maybe wasn't considered, imo.

Ive been trying to think of how to find HE. In order to do that certain assumptions have to be made. Like if A happened, then these are possibles and if B happened, then these are possibles.

I keep coming back to weighted down and sunk as one thing that could have happened. Again mainly due to lack of evidence found so far.

I would hope LE can use good underwater cameras and Sonar to search the waters close to the landing area and literally see the bottom. They are becoming more affordable now and you can even buy one of these for fishing. The real fancy ones are between 1K + 2K and could be used to help see what is on bottom.

Also there is a difference in actual underwater cameras and sonar. They make both. One case in Alaska used actual cameras and when they found the sunk snowmobile victim, the picture it showed left no doubt what they were looking at. Then retrieval happened after they knew he was down there.

I am following a few missing person cases off of WS. This is the only one I follow on here, so I don't know the answer to this. All of the other cases I am following, the people are listed in NamUs. I was told and I am not sure if it's accurate, so that's why I am asking, that anyone can enter the information. Is this correct? I check this site all the time for HE...just to see if any new details about her pop up. The other cases I follow have so much detail about those missing. So, my question is, what is the process to getting added and if you can do it yourself, why would she not be in there? I would think with her having all of these people on her case it wouldn't be difficult to get added. One of the cases I am following went missing weeks after her and she is on the site. Also, is there another missing person site I can find ether on instead?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

The Susan Jacobson case comes to mind from May 2013, Roseville, California. Susan was not put in the data base at NamUs and I didn't understand, since her son also posted on Susan's thread, so a very nice Websleuther put the info that was known about Susan into NamUs, so she is entered, but it wasn't by her family.

Okay, I am thinking "Out of the Box", guys.....
I am wondering if perhaps Heather's watch was found, and say broken, stuck at the 3:41am time period?
Her watch was not listed as missing, but Heather is, so maybe if she wore the watch after her date with SS, technically they don't list it as missing because it was on her possession?
If she did wear it for "show'' as an accessory, (I know many threads back there was a discussion of the time on fashion watches not being set correctly, because it was worn as "jewelry"), I wonder is her watch accounted for?

I keep seeing reference to the license on the seat. Was it hers? I also read that she had BW's license.

Why would I leave my car with my purse, keys, and cell phone, but leave my license on the seat? Why is my license on the seat? I can only think of 1 reason.

I got pulled over years ago for speeding. Showed my license, and dropped it on the passenger seat. I didn't put it back in my purse. On my return trip that day, the same cop pulled me over again. I remember how handy my license was to get that 2nd ticket.

<snipped by me>
What I also notice is that in order to make things "fit", the date has to be clueless about what time he dropped off Heather. He has to be so devoid of awareness about when he left her condo, it's reasonable that he arrived home at 3:00 from a drive that doesn't take 45 minutes. Why is that?

I'm wondering if he stopped at the gas station, filled up, got some tobacco, chatted for a minute with the attendant, played some of the illegal poker games some of them have and left to go on home?

OR, SS dropped her off around 1:40 (like in the recent release) and got home at 2, the clock in his car never was rolled back for daylight savings time? My bosses car stays at the wrong time for a good month or two before one of us finally fixes it for them.

Also on Thursday, police said they think Steve Shiraldi, a Murrells Inlet man who took Elvis out on a date and returned her home before her disappearance, dropped her off before the 1:44 a.m. phone call to Warrelmann.
Previously, Shiraldi told Waccamaw Publishers he thought he dropped Elvis off at around 2 a.m., didn't recall Elvis making any conversations at 1:44 a.m., or anything that would've indicated Elvis was upset.
Squires, the Horry County investigator, said police now believe Shiraldi may have been mistaken about the time.
Shiraldi has been ruled out as a suspect in the investigation, Rhodes and Squires said.

It seems to me at this point all SM pages belonging to HE have been examined plus all phone communications. The numbers ,names and times with text messages have been gathered and analyzed by LE (I'm guessing other involved agencies have/are going through it also). A timeline with the participants has been put in place with that info. Interviews and re interviews have been conducted with those willing to talk. They were compared among the agencies . Searches have been conducted on properties and homes (whose we don't know). Now we wait for HE rescue or recovery (most likely the latter, imo). Where does LE go from here?

Was Heather's apartment locked when it was visited for the first time?

Was it normally locked?

How many people had keys?

I think it's a rumor but I've asked for a link. It seems bizarre but this whole case is bizarre.

Has LE done door-to-door canvasses in the area of PTL and Heather's Apartment?

Was that drivers license mentioned in the original police report as being found on the seat? I don't recall that.

J.B. Beasley's license was found on the dash in her car before her and Tracie's bodies were found in the trunk.

A license left on display can signal LE or a LEO impersonator involvement to me.

It's not. It's Bill Barrett

They mention BB in the article, but don't mention anyone else by name, and I would think if they did talk to SM, then his name would be mentioned before BB's.

I agree but until we get a reference to where it was stated that her license was left out in the open in that car, i dont want to consider that. Wonder if there is a link to anything that stated that.

That makes sense. But tricky wording! See how they do that?

Yes, I've read all that. That's why I'm addressing the issue of SS.

And actually, I misspoke previously. If SS is wrong about when he dropped her off, it took him an hour and fifteen minutes to get home, not 45 minutes.
