WMBF News' David Klugh spoke exclusively with one of the men arrested by detectives who claim he was interfering with the investigation. Bill Barrett is one of Terry Elvis' closest friends. He'll tell you all he was doing was what any friend would do for a father who's hurting.

In regards to tonight's interview, I am expecting the worst(in terms of NO new, factual evidence or info being revealed) and hoping for the best( a break in the case! NEW, factual info and evidence that will provide the public with some direction)! IF SM is in fact on the interview tonight I for one hope that he mans up, finds his backbone, and APOLOGIZES to the Elvis Family for allowing his wife (TM) to post that vile rant--if he says nothing else at all, then so be it SM has prove himself to be a coward of the worst kind.....

Gotcha. I do find it odd that LE has not said that SM IS cooperating, though, especially after everyone bent over backwards to make sure the world knew that the date was cleared. The discrepancy makes me go hmmmm.

Correct, they have not said that he is cooperating either ! If he was, I believe TE would be informed .JMO

Rhodes, the county's police chief, said she understands emotions are running high in the case, but she urged concerned citizens to let law enforcement handle the case instead of resorting to mob justice.

It’s frustrating, she said when people take the law into their own hands because it potentially impedes the investigation into Elvis’ disappearance.

“It was a problem and an issue because we had to sidetrack our investigation to deal with complaints of harassment,” Rhodes said.
Most recently, two Horry County men were charged with obstructing justice.

According to arrest warrants, one of the men created false information about Elvis’ disappearance.

The other man posted misleading information to Facebook, conducted his own investigation and questioned a witness in an attempt to gain access to confidential information, warrants state.

“Crimes were committed,” Rhodes said. “We needed to make those arrests to slow that down.

I had typed in my theory and when I came to the end, my cat jumped on the laptop and deleted...so let me begin again...

I believe that HE drove to PTL to meet someone that was driving to meet her. She got out of her car with her keys, phone etc, locked the door and jumped in this person's car. It could have been to talk or head somewhere. Once she was in that car, she was retrained in some way to be taken to a new location to be killed. That would ensure cadaver dogs would not hit on the car and it is was OM's car, her DNA would most likely already been in it from previous months.

Could it be that TE is fixated on 3:41 because this was the last time anyone heard her voice and the texts/PMS that were sent after that time was in such a language that makes him believe that were not typed by Heather. Most people have a certain way they talk to their friends and if the communications suddenly changed, it could be a good indication that she was not in control of her phone. Even here in WS, I am able to determine who is posting without looking at the name sometimes.

Well, I care to hear from Bill Barrett. It will tell me if I think he's an OK guy, or off the wall. I also find I like listening to the words people use and how they say those words in interviews (why I actually like non-edited versions). If he handles himself well, I'll be more inclined to think LE was just ticked that BB found something they missed or was getting close to something that LE is holding close to their chest. But that's JMO....

ITA if SM were cooperating that LE would at the very least tell TE....and I believe TE to be open to ANY and EVERY avenue that can bring Heather home......SO with that being said, it's telling that TE is intensely focused on SM/TM....I just hope that poor Heather will be back with her family soon!

I still don't understand why there is not a complete description of the individuals that were in the Jeep? Two white males – that's it.

IMO, the Jeep is not out on the streets but the two individuals are and could have been identified by now. :banghead:

-The just aired a commercial during the opening ceremony of the Olympics that new details about the investigation will be released on WMBF Tuesday at 6 pm. It aired snips of Terry Elvis sitting down talking about it and he said something to the effect of...

This has gone on too long and it's time to let people know the truth... and that there's a lot of circumstantial evidence regarding her disappearance but it ALL points in one direction.

The commercial also stated that new details would be released about what was said in the last calls made from Heather's phone before she disappeared.

I'm interested to see what information is going to be released.... and if anyone did have anything to do with her disappearance, I bet they are REALLY freaking out right now.-

I really don't think we are going to hear from SM, I think that the man that most think knows what happened to HE is TE. I also think he is going to reveal the content of the 3:41 phone call. MOO

I haven't been on here for a while I had to take a break from this case. However things seemed to progress pretty fast. Does anyone think the other persons phone HE was communicating with might of had a locater app on it. Even a little bit more extreme maybe the there was a gps device on the person's car that went to meet HE. Just theories I thought about.

In this article, there is a video that I saw this morning that I believe might be the video you are talking about, about the phone calls/circumstantial evidence all pointing in one direction.
I do not think SM will be talking on this broadcast. They haven't mentioned him one bit.....they might "talk" about him, and I see Terry and BB as the lead in discussions about Heather being missing, and the phone calls will be brought up.
