Please let Heather be found.

Very thankful that the family may soon have answers. But very sad to know that this may not be the outcome the family hoped for. My heart aches reading that they are digging in the yard.

A neighbor tells @CourtneyWPDE that officers are searching the home and digging in the back yard #HeatherElvis @CarolinaLive #YourNews

Didn't LE search the property some time ago? This is bugging me, as I would have hoped they would have seen something before now.

So sad. :(

I wonder if dogs hit on her scent? I saw a video this morning that mentioned search dogs....
IMOO.

Or did neighbors hear something suspicious? Don't they have to have a reason to ask for a warrant to search by digging in a backyard? I'm not sure about there, but in Oregon, LE told me they have to be very specific.

Digging in their backyard, huh? I have wondered all along if HE was buried on their property, or even being "stored" (ugh, forgive me for saying that) somewhere inside one of the houses on the property. This would be ballsy of them, but would also perhaps give them foolish confidence that searchers wouldn't turn up any evidence (until they searched the actual property, that is!).
I will be physically sick if this turns out to be the case.
Justice is coming, Heather!!!

Correct. That's when they update. I'm betting it will say "charges not listed" though. Sometimes you have to wait to see that part updated.

How about if you bring in a search dog and he hits (or whatever they do) would that be cause to dig?

WPDE NewsChannel 15's Courtney Griffin is on the scene talking to a neighbor who said she cannot get out of her home because law enforcement officers have the area in front of her house blocked off.

The neighbor said officers are searching the home with dogs and are digging in the backyard. The neighbor said they are searching vehicles parked at the home and "police cars are everywhere."

Our reporters are not being allowed very close to the scene.

Horry County police, the State Law Enforcement Division, the 15th Circuit Solicitors Office, Highway Patrol, and the US Marshals Office were all on scene for the search.

Or LE followed the evidence and dogs sniffed.

and if it isn't Heather maybe it's her phone or an article of clothing that has her scent?
If it's Heather how can someone live with themselves??? And dispose of her in the backyard, if she is there???? Unless they thought that was the perfect place because they thought nobody could get a search warrant???
This just makes me SICK!!!!!!!!!!!
IMOO.

Re: Sidney reporting the white truck on the 20th and needing to go to the hospital. Article mentioned a detective was going to the hospital to follow up. Perhaps Sidney was a little more chatty at the hosptial after fearing for his life ?

If they discover HE on that property and we have witnessed all the Mooorer's have done, they better plea bargain for their lives and be doing it NOW!!!

Late to the party but does this mean we can sleuth her now!?

My guess is we have to wait to see of her charge is in relation to this case.

If he had nothing to do with her disappearance, then maybe somebody was trying to shut him up so that he wouldn't spill the beans? Maybe they wanted to scare him. Maybe he does know more?
IMOO.
