I was shocked when I saw that headline today.

I am now confident that it's not a matter of if they find heather but when. I have all the faith in LE to see this through, the fact they have so many resources out there is a good sign.

I wondered this, too. you get $$ for up to two minors, thus the "on behalf" comment.... maybe, anyway.

a body was found in Jan off Pullen Rd in Tallahassee. total long shot but le will say nothing about it and it's just far enough away to be easy and not on their direct route!!

Does spousal privilege mean these two won't be required by law to testify against each other for whatever they have done? I just wondered how this will affect the case.

P.s I hope law enforcement have been keeping an eye on this couples waste collections since Heather went missing. I would hate to think any evidence has gone to the landfill.

If something was filed for themselves would it be filed on their behalf ? Or only one person signed whatever was filed on the behalf of others or on behalf of the people living in the home sounds , ... minor children.

Still catching up but it could be some type of public assistance? Maybe?

:scared: There is so much to worry about in this case! I do think in time that's where HE will be found. Only a gut feeling of course, but I can see the Ms thinking it's the "perfect crime" to take her out of the state.

I guess it could complicate matters, but I believe justice will be served. They haven't outsmarted ANYONE.:jail:

Couple booked in connection with Heather Elvis case, police confirm

Sidney and Tammy Moorer were taken into custody by police Friday morning as part of an investigation into the disappearance of Heather Elvis, Horry County Police officials confirmed.

Horry County Police were at a home in the 8700 block of State Highway 814 Friday morning executing a search warrant, Lt. Robert Kegler confirmed.

"The search warrant was executed in an attempt to identify potential evidence based on new information obtained through expert analysis of previously seized surveillance tapes in the area along with financial discrepancies filed with the State of South Carolina on behalf of the occupants of the residence," according to a news release from HCPD.
