Question for others, at what time will or would a lie detector be requested? Is this something LE can ask for even if no one has been charged? Or is this something that someone would offer to do to reassure detectives of their truthfulness.
Curious about that, this is the first time I've been so closely watching missing persons case and don't know the protocol. TIA
Interesting new post under "Posts by Others" from 40 minutes ago
All of this mess is just "obsurd" :facepalm:
Yes, what is up with that? I haven't read a single thing about what that particular post mentions. Color me confused...
Boy, I wish I was a fly on the wall in Myrtle Beach today (don't we all?!) to know what is going on "behind the scenes!"

Huh? Why on earth would that person (on www.facebook.com/findheatherelvis) write that ? NOW people will be questioning them. No reason to think they are involved at all. They have been very supportive from everything I have seen.
Completely O/T:
But IHAVENOCLUE can I tell you how much I love your name. I will read a comment and go to move on to the next one and see a BIG--
IHAVENOCLUE at the bottom of the post (because you've thanked them) but each time I giggle and say to myself yeah, me neither.
Thank you for providing me with a little source of light in this very frustrating case![]()

they could have done them already (it does not mean they will be sharing that with the public)

Excellent article by the WMBF News Staff, imo.. Awareness is the key in missing persons investigations. The public is a very valuable investigative resource to squander, imo. Silence by Law Enforcement via ms media is the predators most lethal weapon. The HPD's antiquated silence investigative strategy in Heather Elvis's case has hampered a successful conclusion, imo. Media Management is critical in high profile cases. The HPD has had no press conferences since Heather's disappearance. There are 7 known unsolved missing/murdered females in Horry Co, SC in as many years. These cases may, or may not be related but according to the FBI, it only takes 2 victims to be serial killer related;

It becomes essential for law enforcement personnel involved in a serial murder investigation to design and implement an effective media plan. The plan should provide timely information on a regular basis, without compromising the investigative endeavors. It is essential for media releases to be closely coordinated with investigative strategies. This helps determine the best times to both educate and solicit information from the public concerning certain aspects of the investigation. Once a media plan is established, law enforcement can be more proactive than reactive in its media strategy.
Oh, thanks. So if someone passed the test they would probably want others to know, but if they didn't they would keep quiet. Just musings...
