Time was of the essence then when LE first got word she was missing, and hopefully all the people she had contact with recently and/or knew her were interviewed - paying particular attention - looking for any bruises, scratches they might have, as well as nervousness.

Speaking of that, it wouldn't hurt asking each for a DNA sample with a bit of pretending that some DNA has been found that they are trying to match.. If a person protests - well, then I'd be interested in that person!

Also important to get all stories and alibis as quickly as possible to prevent a perp from thinking things thru - always suspicious when one has to change a story or gets caught in lie.

I've always thought the AB case involved a very angry person--not a random perp. I think this because the location, the fact that she was left there, what i've read about how her car was left, and the nature of her injuries. It seemed like someone just raged on her then left.

I would be shocked if there is a connection between Amber and Heather...unless they dated the same person at some point. But there is no hint of that.

There was a young mother from my town who went missing. She had an ex, who she had a bad and violent history with. Everyone "knew" he did it and things on SM were much like this except both sides were going at each other. He was arrested for something else, charges dropped, and they were going to get him. It pained me because she still hadn't been found and there's always that feeling that the person may not have done it. At the end of the day, he didn't do it and her family now understands that and has to live with everything they said to the father raising their grandchildren. I am not saying that things here don't "look good." But, a lot of also doesn't look good.

One thing that really strikes me is there are hundreds of restaurants/sports bars in MB. What are the odds of having one murdered girl & another missing in a relatively short amount of time, even though they didn't work there at the same time? IDK but it is too odd for me to ignore IYKWIM.
