I think we have all assumed that Heather was still hanging on to the older man..what if Heather had ended the relationship in Nov and it was the older man who continued to call her. Perhaps the relationship was a secret from her family ? Perhaps the older man was threatening and insisted she be with him now that he wanted to walk away from his family ? Perhaps she felt a real " connection with her date , was excited to start her new job and wanted the older man to leave her alone ?

My thoughts as well.
So Heather moves on.
The older man probably yelled at her over the phone, mad her that he was caught cheating with her and his wife left him.
Heather probably told the older man that she is on a date.
The older man now has no wife and Heather does not want to be with him anymore.
The older man has nothing now.
So yes, the older man is probably very very angry.
So what happens next in this crazy triangle?
The LE interview with the ex-wife would be interesting..

20 year old girls are hot. Add it makes an older man feel good that a young, attractive woman wants to be with him.

Snipped:

According to the report, the last phone calls were at about 6 a.m. Dec. 18, about four hours after Elvis and Shiraldi ended their date.

The calls were back and forth between the victim and the older man, the report said.
The older man told police he hasn’t seen the victim since October, and then admitted to speaking with Heather Elvis the previous night, the report continued.

He further told police, the report said, that he “called her to tell her to quit calling him and that was it.”

BBM - the stated communication was by calls, and they were back and forth - so the older man had his phone. It is not mentioned when he last "saw" her, just when he last spoke to her. Fishy, fishy, fishy.

I'm curious about the lack of concern from this married man since she went missing. If he loved her and wanted to be with her you would think he'd be devastated that she's missing, involved in trying to finding her and wanting to find her to clear any questions.

He may be talking with police by now, but it sounds as though he tried to deny at first.

I am not surprised by a married man trying to stay out of something like this, guilty or not. I mean, he is already of dubious morals for cheating, IMO.

Speaking of which what were either of these two doing up at 6 am. At least with HE we know she didn't have to work. What about the other guy, why was he up that early?

What if they broke up because his wife found out and so she tried to move on. He then later called and said I am leaving my wife for you. She tells the roommate crying because she is confused and doesn't know what to do. She later is confused. The two of them decide to run off together. She goes and he will meet her later. It's happen before and would be a happy story because she is safe.

I don't think this has been posted yet...please remove if this isn't considered an MSM source but I'm hoping it's usable as it opens up some key points to discussion.

Eight posts were also made to Heather Elvis’ Tumblr page on Dec. 18, the night she disappeared, but the identity of who made the posts was unclear.

Sounds like web sleuths aren't the only ones questioning those posts!

Can anyone post the tumblr posts? Is that allowed? I cannot open tumblr.

To go to work? I usually have to be to work by 630am.

the phone call with the roommate took place AFTER the date

he called bw at 144. so she already had a chat with OM (older man!) that was long enough to discuss him leaving his wife.... date says he's sure he dropped her off after 2!

the phone call with the roommate took place AFTER the date

Not according to the article - Says she was on the date until 2-2:30. Call to roommate was a 1:45am:

It’s been widely reported in police records and media accounts that Elvis left for a date at about 7 p.m. Dec. 17, and that she returned to her River Oaks Drive apartment sometime between 2 and 2:30 p.m.
It’s also been widely reported that Elvis text messaged a photo of herself to her father at 10:43 p.m. that showed her learning to drive a manual transmission vehicle.

Elvis’ roommate, identified in a police report as Brianna Warrelmann, received a phone call from Elvis at about 1:44 a.m. Dec. 18, police records state.

According to the report, the roommate said the victim “seemed like she was crying and upset” due to receiving a call from a man the report says was nearly twice her age.

The report also said the victim previously had a relationship with the man, and that he said he left his wife and wanted to be with the victim.

It may not be an EX wife....

It's more likely HE drove somewhere to meet this guy and was confronted by the wife. A fight broke out and things got out of control, and something bad happened. We now know she was alive at 6 am. The next question should be where was she getting these calls at. Was it at home or at the boat landing. Did she go over this persons house sometime Wednesday?

The time line is a bit wonky. The call to BW must be accurate at 144am since they have records for that. The date could easily have been off by 30 minutes or so on his timeline. OR he called BW from a bathroom near the end of the date. It would have to have been a short call. My guess is that date is just off on his times.

The timeline is confusing, but the calls and phone records are probably the correct time line and the date was confused about it, just my opinion.

It's possible she called the roommate at 1:44 and said good date. Then got call from married guy, the called the roommate back crying.

I think her date is miscalculating what time he dropped her off. Estimating it by the time he arrived home.
