Thankyou and Welcome to WS
Ok, I am new here, so please pardon me while I learn my way around.
This case has taken so many twist since I started trying to figure it out from home.
I do Computer and phone repairs on the side here in my hometown in NC and would be happy to help LE pull any files from computers ( such as deleted pictures or what ever may be needed.

If the date says she was happy and roommate says she said the date went well but then was crying & upset over OM (older man) that would mean 1 of them is not telling the truth or is confused. She can't be crying on the phone with her roommate while still happy on the date with date guy all while posting pics on SM. I agree this timeline doesn't make sense at all. *IMO*

different time zone

Now, There is a tarot card site...

LE knows how to pull files from computers.

I was looking at the tarot site yesterday. But we aren't allowed to talk about it here. I've saved if for later to see how accurate it was.

Welcome though!

BS/HINKY meter - you can just block calls these days!

Yes. I don't know what type of phone this mysterious older man has, but I have an iPhone 5s and can literally block any number I was directly from the Settings function of my phone.

You know, I always wondered why LE went to her Dad's house after finding the vehicle. You would think they'd just phone him. I only just realized how close the landing is to her parents house. Much closer than it is to her new apartment.

Interesting! That had not occurred to me till now. Wouldn't the standard procedure be to tag the car with a small sticker noting the officer's name and the date & time they tagged car. Also on the tag there would be a warning that if the car was still there by a certain date and time it would be towed.

TE did say in an article that he knew the officer that came to his house and maybe the officer did this because he recognized the owner's name when he ran the license.

But it is interesting that the officer did go to the house. Upon the car being unlocked, the officer checked the inside of the car.

Something must have set off a red flag for the officer. Makes me wonder what it was.

No, not according to the published information.

Yeah, it seems it all took place at the same time. The pics on SM, the date and the phone call with roommate. The only thing that is published taking places AFTER the 1:30-2:30 time frame is the OM call. Strange.

At the time the car was reported to LE, remember the neighbor initially thought it had been there for several nights. This probably concerned the officer and he knew the owner and decided to go see him.

My thoughts as well.
So Heather moves on.
The older man probably yelled at her over the phone, mad her that he was caught cheating with her and his wife left him.
Heather probably told the older man that she is on a date.
The older man now has no wife and Heather does not want to be with him anymore.
The older man has nothing now.
So yes, the older man is probably very very angry.
So what happens next in this crazy triangle?
The LE interview with the ex-wife would be interesting..

Yes, that is very plausible.

I think the time confusion is the result of how the article is written.

Elvis’ roommate, identified in a police report as Brianna Warrelmann, received a phone call from Elvis at about 1:44 a.m. Dec. 18, police records state.
According to the report, the roommate said the victim “seemed like she was crying and upset” due to receiving a call from a man the report says was nearly twice her age.
The report also said the victim previously had a relationship with the man, and that he said he left his wife and wanted to be with the victim.
Warrelmann declined to discuss the nature of the phone call when contacted by the Chronicle.
“I’m not allowed to speak about that at this time,” Warrelmann said.
Warrelmann, who was in Florida for Christmas break when Elvis disappeared, did say she spoke to Elvis about her date with Shiraldi.
She said that conversation occurred at about 2 a.m. Dec. 18.

I believe the statements I bolded are referring to the same phone call . The police report says 1:44. BW says about 2 a.m. emphasis on " THAT " conversation.

I think the phone call when Heather was crying happened at a later time

Maybe just that is was unlocked and left there for a few days. So he knew it was not someone walking or swimming nearby.

I'm confused about how many conversations HRE (saying HE sometimes gets confusing, since we now have a "he" that we can talk about) had with her friend...

I wonder if it was two separate conversations, or just one that the friend is breaking down into what they talked about at what time.

Also, note that it says "about" 1:44. To me that means that HRE called at EXACTLY 1:44; otherwise it would be "about 1:45" or "between 1:45 and 2:00". No one says "about 1:44." I think that's a solid timeline because the friend obviously has her phone with the time stamp; I think the date was just estimating times based on what time he got home and subtracting.

IMO, timelines are the bane of many cases here. The details drive us crazy.

major creepy factor, right there.... ugh.

Last year I dated a man for a few months who was 47, never married. I knew he had a "good friend" who was 22 or 23 and he was very protective of her, and I also knew that the person he dated before me had completely broken his heart. He would never name "this person" to me, so I always suspected that it was either a man (since he was kinda feminine and always said "this person") or it was this girl who was his good friend. He finally told me it was the girl, and they'd dated for about 3 years, starting when she was like 18 or 19 and he was about 44!!!!!! And she was his employee. After I learned that, I just could not proceed with the relationship (for a few other reasons, too, but that was a biggie). It had such an ick factor to me and I felt it represented a lot of bad decision making (including the fact she was his employee and the relationship was secret because of that).

Thinking about the initial deception of the OM to the investigators. Obviously he should have known that the police had the info on the calls, how else would they have gotten his info? And why would they be speaking to him? So that leads me to think his story to his wife was a lie about NOT being in contact with HE and he lied to LE because he knew that story would be what she told the LE too. I know I'm making a mess of explaining this, but I think OM is covering up something now more than ever.

It's starting to look like the pieces of the puzzle are really coming together in this case now. Hopefully some of the newly released info will get people talking and help bring Heather home soon.

I think we have all assumed that Heather was still hanging on to the older man..what if Heather had ended the relationship in Nov and it was the older man who continued to call her. Perhaps the relationship was a secret from her family ? Perhaps the older man was threatening and insisted she be with him now that he wanted to walk away from his family ? Perhaps she felt a real " connection with her date , was excited to start her new job and wanted the older man to leave her alone ?

This is what I'm thinking. Maybe HE decided that she was done with the OM. She seemed like quite a free spirit and maybe after thinking about things in the previous weeks/months, decided she didn't want to continue with the "relationship?" Maybe she thought it was more of a fling, then was really taken aback and scared when this OM calls her and says "hey I'm leaving my wife for you." I could see her at her age not really wanting to settle down and get into something serious enough that it would cause a man to leave his wife. Orrr maybe she was just done with the OM because he told her that he was leaving his wife for her...some men and women are all about the thrill of the chase, and wanting what's unattainable. Once the unattainable IS attainable, they're bored and ready to move on to the next big thing.

My Android has this feature as well, and it was "stock" on my phone...as in I didn't have to install any apps to get that feature.

Was Heather really home alone when she called her roommate upset &crying? Could someone have been with her? Perhaps telling her what to say?

  • #699
Ok I dont know how to get back to the list of police incident reports for that night but if my memory serves me right....werent there a few reported thefts of a bike with a motor and a moped?.... more than one incident....were any of those incidents near peachtree landing?....and if so is it possible that the motorized bike and or moped could have been used to load into the car to drop the car there and then unload and ride home?....or almost home and then dump stolen bike/moped somewhere?

But how would LE know his number??

I assume you mean how would the officer know the father's phone #.

The police in our area have access to information databases that we don't. But I don't believe the contact was by phone, according to the article, but face-to-face at TE's home. THAT info would be on the registration when he ran the license. In fact, since the father owned the car that was why the officer went to the father's and not HE's.
