OMG I'm just coming back, she has been found alive??!! That's so great, what a relief! Thank God! I'm so happy to read this as I did not expect this outcome. Wonderful, just wonderful :loveyou:

Now will go and try to catch up.

:loveyou: I'm late to the party but so glad H is safe!

I am thankful and surprised that she wasn't put into the trunk. That makes me feel like he was treating her with some level of concern, compared to the many monsters we have read about here. So I hope that he was not as bad as we had imagined.

This is such a miracle. Looking at her picture was killing me because she looks so happy and adorable. This was such a nice ending.

~~~~~Happy Dance Time~~~~~~
I had such a bad feeling about how this was going to end. I've never been more happy to be so wrong about something. That poor mother, beat to the point of needing surgery and lying helpless in a hospital bed while her beautiful 4 year old was missing, she must have felt so helpless. My heart went out to her. I'm so happy her daughter was found.
I also can't believe that idiot gave the cop in Alabama his real name and social security number....
We have seen a single perp contain, control and kill multiple victims before. This is actually a much better outcome than we've often seen. Everyone survived it, which is wonderful.
A great example is the murders of Savvas Savopoulos, Amy Savopoulos, Philip Savopolous and Vera Figueroa. The killer was in the home almost 24 hours. Entering and leaving during the day. He ended up killing all 4 of them (3 adults and a child) and setting the house on fire. Similar to the Petit family murders (though that was 2 perps.)
Snipped by me --
This was the exact case that brought me to Websleuths, and exactly what I thought of when going through scenarios in my head about what happened with H yesterday.
I am anxious for more details to be released today.
What fantastic news! This morning I was getting ready and my 8-year-old son called me into the living room where he was watching the news. He said, "Mom,, come quick! They caught the kidnapper and took that little girl back to her mom! Now we don't have to worry about her anymore!" After everything else we've seen on the news the past 24 hours, this was a welcome relief.
Me, too! I guess I see so many bad endings that I can’t help but think of the worst. Poor woman. I heard somewhere or read here that all of her facial bones were broken. So glad that child was found safe.
I want to see his new mug shot! Hope someone finds it soon.
Sorry if this has been mentioned, but maybe in his panic he was thinking he would kidnap H for ransom?
I want to see him locked up forever, where he never harms another woman again and takes another child.
He must be doped up. Hard to get ransom $ from someone you just beat the day lights out of. IMO
Hm. Yeah, that guy couldn't be more white. Not a skinny hispanic man, or a man with facial tattoos. What's going on here?
The man in the sketch was a person of interest and not a suspect. Neighbors said they saw him hanging around in the woods behind the houses that week, and a neighbor worked with a sketch artist to get a description of him. To my knowledge, he is not involved in this case yet- LE just wanted to talk to him.
Oh that's right. But didn't mom say her attacker was a skinny hispanic guy?
There is another mugshot of him with dark hair and dark facial hair that is more recent. We don’t know how much of a look Mom got at him. At a quick glance, if he looked similar to the more recent mugshot Mom could have mistaken him for Hispanic.
I want to see what he looks like in his mug shot. If he's a known druggy then he could have lost weight/ skin color could have changed, etc etc. IMO That Picture was from a few years ago IIRC.
This is local to me and I'm so glad to see this outcome - fell asleep last night before the rumors she was found were confirmed. What a relief...
