A Marlboro County man has been found not guilty of stabbing a woman to death. The jury deliberated two-and-a-half hours before reaching that decision Friday night in the trial of Jauncey Harrington.

Jejuancey Harrington is also charged with kidnapping Iyana. Police continue to search for Iyana. Officers say that's their main focus right now is finding the child.

MCSO arrested Jejauncey Fernando Harrington, 32, in connection with the death of Ella Shantrice Lowery on May 5 and the disappearance of her 8 year old daughter, Iyana. He is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime in connection with Ella Lowery's stabbing death, and kidnapping and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime in connection with Iyana's disappearance. He was arrested late Saturday and booked at the MC Detention Center.

do you have a source for this? the only place I'm finding this is Topix. And the name is spelled slightly differently than today's reports so I'm trying to confirm if it's the same guy or not.

and presumably she was not with him at the time of his arrest on 5/11. not looking good for Iyana.. I hope I'm wrong. JMO.

Sunday, police searched along New Bridge and Bluff Roads in McColl.

It's also the place where Jackie Hulon was was found stabbed to death in 2005. Harrington was charged in Hulon's killing, but was acquitted.

Officers aren't saying why they're searching that area.

Several people from that area say it's near where he hid the body of Jackie Hulon years ago (but was acquitted on a technicality) and also, that the body of water where they are searching ior Ilayna is home to many alligators.

Body found this morning on Gum Swamp Road off of New Bridge Road Road in McColl. Coroner says they can't tell if it's a man or woman. they are waiting to identify the body.

Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown said a body was found Sunday morning in a creek off Gum Swamp Rd. near New Bridge Rd. in McColl.

Brown said the body was found around 10 a.m., but can't confirm if the body is that of a male or female, child or an adult.

2007 WIS-TV story about his trial. Saw Facebook discussion about being the same guy from locals who knew him as "Squeaky" or Jackie Hulon.
