I believe that article is about a month old. Unless I missed an update in it, I don't know of any searches going on for Johnny. No response from CUE either.

I could be that the newspaper just re-printed the same article, then added something new at the end maybe???

Yesterday, someone pointed out that the article now says that it's one month old, so it's not recent. I am positive that when I posted the link, the date on the article was Oct. 5, 2012. Most of the articles are out-of-date so I was trying to be careful to post a recent one. And I was very surprised to find a recent article at the time. Maybe someone at the news station was making an attempt to revive Johnny's story but it was caught by an editor or manager? The next time I find an article that appears updated, I'll be sure to copy the date, too!

TxLady, when you read the story there's a "click here" link in it. I think it's in a different color, too. I feel bad for this man, whoever he is.

It is sad that Johnny wasn't home for his birthday and I'm sure he was lonely, being away from his family on his special day. Too bad the media didn't pick up on the fact and do a story on him. I was hoping to see his new Facebook page, too. I had it in my mind that they'd be putting a new one up in his honor today, but that didn't happen either. I am so terribly sad that he hasn't been located yet. How will anyone know he's even missing if the story isn't kept alive and there's no FB page for him so people can circulate it? How can a man just fade away aand nothing more is said or done for him? We keep his story going here on WS, but he needs more. Unfortunately, it isn't up to us to do interviews or make him a FB page. We aren't steering this sinking ship...

Just catching up here. I'm so glad that Julie has made contact with someone, I hope she can resolve the password issue. I did the same thing several years ago, and was SO frustrated when I couldn't log on.

Wow... some really good thoughts these last couple pages. Don't have time to address them all but we can all do something! Johnny is just as important as anyone else, and he needs to be found.

I was wondering the same thing as Peeker, could he verbalize enough so that someone might understand him and know he is missing? He could be wandering around in another state, just looking for his family and not knowing which direction to go in. Can you imagine the frustration he must feel? He wants to get back home, but he doesn't know how and can't approach someone because they don't understand him.

God, please hold Johnny's hand!!

Indy Anna, you were right it was dated October 2012, but the actual article was dated from a month ago.
What sometimes happens on webpages is as someone else stated, they are sometimes updated, even just an amendment to a date or name.

Also, If another item on that page is updated or amended, the page will show as new, it could even be an advert.

You did everything right though, the only way to keep Johnny in the news is to keep posting anything at all, if its new all the better, if not, at least it is keeping his name out there.

I'm glad she's coming back. It's terribly hard to speculate about what is happening without an insider. I hope she understands that we have taken her brother under our collective wing and only wish for to him to be found.

I pray and hope that wherever Johnny is tonight, he is not cold, hungry, frightened, or lonely. I will personally travel to wherever his homecoming celebration is, and bring something to share, like barbeque or cake. Come home Johnny!!! A lot of people are worried about you and your family.
