CONWAY, SC - CONWAY SC (WBTW) - It's been one year since 37-year-old Margaret Holcomb vanished and the Horry County Police Department posted on their Twitter page this week that "the search continues."
The mother of four was last seen on Feb. 4 around 10 a.m. at a mobile home park on Tigger Loop in Conway. Holcomb's sister, Joyce Aland, says it's a nightmare the family can't wake up from.
"She got up, she walked out of the bedroom and she told my mom, 'Mom 'I'll be right back,' stepped out, and no one has seen her since," said Aland.
Family members say they waited a few days to report her missing because she has a tendency to wander off. "She liked roam, she liked to go places, on adventures as she would say," said Aland.
Holcomb also struggled with depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD from a traumatic event.
"Do I think she would have harmed herself? Yes. But if she did that they would have found her body by now, but they haven't found anything," said Aland.
