Just heard this story here in North Florida last night. I also hope they have people checking for her car to make sure she didn't run off the road into the trees. It can really be hard to see, here in Florida off I-95 the woods are very dense.

I'm not familair with this area. Does Myranda live in Greenville County?

Simpsonville is in Greenville County, yes.

She is missing from Greenville. I know she worked in Greenville, but I am unsure of whether she lived there, of right outside of there.

The reporter probably meant Gray Court, not Gray county. There is no Gray county in SC.

The coroner said as of Friday afternoon, the body was unidentified. He said the body was at the location for several days.

An autopsy is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday.

I never saw anything on that FB page about a body. The latest news I've seen says they haven't found any abandoned cars in the area and that SLED has been called in.

Where is Myranda's estranged husband from?

She and her husband are both from this area. My daughter's friend said she knew them both from high school. No idea where he lives now though.
They are supposed to be having a vigil tonight around here. Myranda's family and friends have been all over this in the last day or so. As I said before, I was in Simpsonville Wednesday and didn't know about this, nor did I see anything about her. It's changed since they got media more involved, but appears local LE have not been helpful on this.

Southern's family became concerned earlier in the week when she never arrived to pick up her kids from vacation with their grandmother, who lives in Zellwood, Florida.

Officials in Laurens County, South Carolina confirmed that the body of a white female was found around 12:30 p.m. on Friday as a man was clearing some brush."
