GUILTY SC - Myranda Southern, 31, Simpsonville, 19 Aug 2013

  • #81
Unless her family knows what's going on behind the scenes, and why this can't be figured out, they need to talk to the media and see if they can make them get some help. I would be furious if that was my daughter lying in a morgue for this long.
I have to wonder what strategy they are using if they are not asking for help on finding her car and purse, phone, etc...............even the family and the FB is quiet. Curiouser and curiouser.

This case is driving me crazy....I don't want it to just fade away before she is found.

Is this a really small law enforcement department? I know I wouldn't want anything to happen where I live. They don't solve anything. If they can, they call everything a suicide....not murder.

This is a small PD, but they could ask for help from the county which is larger and ask for SLED help. South Carolina Law Enforcement Division which is state police.

Just found this - really sad
Coroner: Body identified as woman who was missing

Myranda Whisenant Southern died of a gunshot wound, coroner says

RIP. :( I guess we all had a pretty good idea it was her, but now the case can move forward at least.

I hope they are looking at those close to her. Someone knew she was leaving to get the kids, she only made it about 20 miles from home as I recall. Did she stop and pull off the interstate to talk to someone?

Where is her vehicle?

Also, it says a gunshot wound to the back of the head.

Of course her estranged husband is number one on the list of people to look at in her death because according to the facebook page she was supposed to have gone to see him after she got off work that night.

Suspect in custody, not Myranda's husband. This is on the facebook page. Should have put that in there.

Aw, jeez. That's awful.

I'm glad it was not her husband especially for the sake of the children.

There is a FB for a DR in Greenville. Appears to have a daughter. So sad so many children have been effected by this.

Edit: Not posting link because there may be more than 1 DR.

I wonder how this links to the fact that her Facebook was seemingly being monitored or read.

Wow. That was a shock, and so sad. Would have been sad if it were who I thought was guilty, but this is just... Unexpected and sad.

So sad. Sending thoughts, strength and light to her family and friends.
