Identified! SC - Myrtle Beach, WhtFem at beach, dolphin tat, May'13 - Robin Kelly

Thanks for the alert. I am closing the thread until someone has a chance to look it over.

Remember not to sleuth people not named in MSM. :tyou:

This thread is open again.

Please remember that we don't sleuth people unless they are missing per MSM, the Doe Network, NamUS, and or the Charley Project. And we never sleuth their family and friends!

If you feel strongly that someone who has a warrant might be a UID, don't post about that person publicly. Instead, contact law enforcement.

Mods... I have included the eye picture. If this needs changing please let me know and I will take it out of the frames. TYIA

Bringing this post forward as it has a photo of the Reebok Hexalite Shoe.

I wonder if she was athletic at one time, or if she purchased these Hexalites because they absorb shock?
(In the close up of the shoe from NamUs the shoe is worn from age it looks like to me.)

From this link I have gathered information about Hexalite:
http://counterkicks.com/2009/11/exclusive-look-reeboks-ers-hexalite-technology-systems/

"The successor to ERS, Reebok unveiled Hexalite cushioning in 1990 on an array of its models including the Court Victory tennis shoe, Pump Aerobic Lite, and Pump AXT and Pump SXT crosstraining footwear. The following year saw Hexalite incorporated into the Pump Running and Pump Walking shoes, as well as the Pump Omni Zone II and Pump Omni Lite basketball shoes.
According to Reebok, Hexalite is four times more durable than EVA foam and absorbs up to 23% more energy than an equal amount of EVA foam does."

"Hexalite continues on today in the form of Hexride, a cushioning system of cored-out hexagonal recesses in the midsole of the shoe."

Perhaps she bought these shoes because at one time she was athletic, or because of the shock absorbency.
Maybe she did quite a bit of walking? That would explain her tan in her upper chest area. Maybe she wore longer
sleeves, but the upper chest area was exposed to the sun?
If she purchased them new, to me, it looks like she kept them a long time.
IMOO.

Im starting to think she was homeless, hence the tan and walking shoes.

I was thinking that too. Somewhere on here I read that she had had expensive dental work, so maybe not long-term homeless, but still.

I think she was definitely someone who walked a lot. Not sure about being homeless, but perhaps somebody who filled her days by just walking the streets rather than spending time with other people.

I get the impression some sort of tragedy happened to her (recently before her death) and I think her suicide wasn't something that was exactly planned well.
I have some reservations about her attempt of suicide - not that it wasn't suicide - but something is not sitting right with me related to that. Maybe there are other details the Police haven't released.
Did the Police find the instrument that was used to cut her wrists at the place where she made the attempt?

I wonder what she had done to her ankle to have to wear the bandage?
I wonder if it was something she wore on a regular basis or something that was a recent injury.

I am lost as to where it was said that she cut her wrists? I know there was an ace bandage on her left leg but can someone refresh me re; the suicide??

I am reading it, sorry,,,
Why wasn't that noted in Namus?

Doesn anyone else think the marks on her neck were ligature marks? That was my first impression - either someone strangled her or she tried and failed.

It's from just one MSM article, linked back on page 8 of this thread. Here's the actual article. I did a quick search to see if there was any new info on that, and didn't see anything. All we know is that she cut her wrists, possibly in a public bathroom, before she drowned. No word on what she used, where this bathroom was, blood trail, etc.

I think this was mentioned earlier. Before we knew about the cuts, someone here (Astrid?) had been in touch with the ME, who said he thought the marks might be from her bobbing around in the water and hitting something. (I'm paraphrasing here.) Ligature marks or even hesitation marks from trying to slit her own throat seem a lot more likely.

This (from the MSM article I just linked to) is interesting to remember:
Authorities say she was found in the ocean on May 25. Rescuers tried CPR, but she died at the hospital.

Yes, thank you I remember. I thought "bobbing?" Bobbing would be bumps and bruises likely postmortem. This one view of a long red mark including stray marks from the wrinkles indicated to me a tight ( maybe not tight or long enough) ligature.

MOO

So several failed attempts in a short period and COD is Drowning... IMO if she went in the water and then drifted they would not have found both shoes. IIRC she was wearing her right shoe but her left shoe was separate. Both are pictured, so maybe she carried her left shoe because of whatever injury that caused her to have it bandaged.

I don't want to make any mistakes by referring to info that was not reported by LE , MSM, Namus or Doe Network, so if anyone has links to this info I would love it. Even if it doesn't work.
Meantime I will read back more. TIA!

Yes, I had been in touch with the ME who said they were more than likely caused by her body hitting rocks or something in the water. He said he would check into that and get back to me, but he never did. I never followed up.

I believe that they found her blood in a public restroom which gives credibility to the suicide theory.
