It struck me as what school was like for him, when he often could not get an answer correct in school setting.

When the guy asked where he would like to be now, he struggled for a moment and then excitidly say stated that "he could" answer that. It just hit me as so, I know the answer to this one.

Getting near the end of confession. At times he is on the level of like a child. He wants a shower. When told they need his clothes, instant response is well what am I going to put on?

Developmentally this is IMO, very delayed for his age.

I know I know some think I am a softie !! At the end of the day he is a lost, confused, child.

At no time in two hours when talking about AA did he verbalize feelings of rage or anger.

It seems as if at its core, he felt he needed to "educate" about his perceived notions.

When he asked to use the bathroom, he added "real quick" struck me like he really did not want to inconvenience anyone.

There was no fear his concerns about the future were concrete and childlike IMO.

I can't really decide what I think was his motivation. He had black friends when growing up (I've seen them speak about it on tv) , at one point he said he almost decided not to do it because the people were so nice to him. He spoke openly and quickly to police when caught. He doesn't necessarily seem too bright, his affect is off.
I'm also not trying to say he is insane or should be let off of this crime. He did it, he needs to pay for it.
I wonder if he met up with someone online, like the kids that run off to join ISIS, and they talked him into it, making him feel like he'd be doing something that 'somebody' had to do, and become famous, or infamous for doing it.
I can't decide. Is he just a loser, a loner, a drug user, unemployed person who had no aim in life and somehow found this one? I did think he wanted to represent himself to further his cause, now I'm not even sure if he really has a cause.
If I was on the jury, he's guilty, but is he too nutty for the DP? I would like to hear all the evidence in person. Even if they give him the DP, we haven't killed anyone since 2011, so will it ever happen anyway?
I would like to hear from him in 10 years, after he's grown up a little, and what he has to say then. If he gets the DP, he won't be killed by then.

How is the Queen?

OK- Vet said it was her salivary gland that was swollen and not the lymph nodes. Had him take some blood for a complete test- get results Wed.

Otherwise she checks out good. Wasn't her teeth as they look good (except for a little staining on the back teeth- The Queen was very indigent upon hearing that and said "you never take me anywhere fun"...:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:..).

He goes in with one color slacks and comes out with different color ??

It also appears on exit he is wearing glasses??

In the confession tape near the end he is asked if he has sweat pants on underneath.

Good catch on the pants colors. He must have been wearing two pair, then. no glasses that I can see ... angle of camera and his floppy hairdo make it look that way. At least that is how I see it.
