without knowing it , so off the wall, he gave a pretty damning truth about "our system" " I can't understand why you guys can't take my gun when I already killed people"
It was a moment! All they could do was laugh
Think about it !
Both his emotional and cognitive development halted somewhere along the I think !
Wants to know "where" he is going to "be"?
It struck me as what school was like for him, when he often could not get an answer correct in school setting.
He is concerned about the location of his drivers license- totally naive that he will never need it again in his life.
When the notions about having to take a picture arose he instantly started his straightening his hair .
When the guy asked where he would like to be now, he struggled for a moment and then excitidly say stated that "he could" answer that. It just hit me as so, I know the answer to this one.
Getting near the end of confession. At times he is on the level of like a child. He wants a shower. When told they need his clothes, instant response is well what am I going to put on?
Developmentally this is IMO, very delayed for his age.
I know I know some think I am a softie !! At the end of the day he is a lost, confused, child.
At no time in two hours when talking about AA did he verbalize feelings of rage or anger.
It seems as if at its core, he felt he needed to "educate" about his perceived notions.
When he asked to use the bathroom, he added "real quick" struck me like he really did not want to inconvenience anyone.
There was no fear his concerns about the future were concrete and childlike IMO.
