Does anyone remember testimony on whether Bluetooth was turned on in Maggie's settings ? Is it possible Maggie's bluetooth was off but Paul's phone could not be unlocked so his phone was left behind to prevent it from connecting to AM's truck ?
IMO, the phones' locations after the deaths are complete diversion tactics meant to be a distraction. Red herrings, IMO. Also, IMO, AM wanted to access MM's phone for reasons we may or may not ever know. moo

Thoughts on the Prosecution highlighting the group text where MM (?) says something to the effect of “I’m afraid for him, for Alex, for all of us?” Was there anything in RM’s will that would have depended on whether PM or MM survived Randolf’s death (in terms of AM’s inheritance). The impending death of RM, the group chats, and whatever MM was referring to are so proximate to the killings - could that really be unrelated or coincidental?

I keep worrying about the jurors not taking notes and was thinking of three things, -- they have been told they will get charts and timelines provided at deliberations --
they are cowed into coming back with "innocent" regarding the SC nobility member "Murdaugh" no matter what --
they are acting from a conclusion that he is guilty no matter what, perhaps due to animosity/fear toward AM. Sincerely hope it is the first!!!

All MOO.

This is an odd one because every court/judge is different about what the jurors get to see during deliberation. Many times during a trial you will see trial exhibits passed to the jurors for a close-up view. Some jurors have monitors before them. And it's not a given that trial exhibits will be allowed inside the deliberation room!

The trial court should consider three factors in deciding whether to permit the jury to take a copy of the exhibits to the jury room. Those factors are: (1) whether the material will aid the jury in a proper consideration of the case; (2) whether any party will be unduly prejudiced by submission of the material; and (3) whether the material may be subjected to improper use by the jury.

Perfect, gives us boots on the ground look at the murder scene.

I have concerns about this too. I can't imagine not taking notes as a juror.
Right? I'm not a juror and I've been taking notes..... I have hours:minutes:seconds written on the top of my work documents!

Also, Defense can argue all day that isn’t AM on the snapchat, but there are 3 voices, and that person was known to PM and MM because everyone was happily playing fetch with the dog. Nothing amiss at all. So voice 3 is not a scary stranger(s).

Also, I know it’s been said before, but the “babe” comment is pure, raw “consciousness of guilt” on the part of AM.

Thanks.

Does anyone know where the flip flop foot prints were? I pictured them going up and down, under the hangar roof and along the hangar wall. i.e. parallel to the kennels, but view partially blocked by various farm vehicles. But I'm not sure.
One witness described them as a long the shed wall, but isn't the building they are generally calling the "shed" the building further away from the red-roofed hangar building?

I wasn't sure if anyone knew for sure where these foot prints were, and which end of the building they turned around at. Was Maggie trying to hide/get-away from the shooter?

If it weren't Alex's voice on the video the defense would have been all over that, clearly it's is him and they didn't want to touch it during cross.

I could hear a dog and two voices. I've always said there is a fine line between actors and lawyers. I think AM proves my point.
I heard dog with PM talking to it, trying to get it's attention for the camera. Then I heard two other voices talking very loud about a bird. So three different voices and I recognized AM's voice talking loudly with the woman also being loud, both at a distance. PM's voice sounded more intimate being very close to the phone.

This Defense atty is just cell phone jumping from one to the other and then back again with all these different time frames. UGH
I certainly hope that Some of the jury have note pads to take notes.

I realize his MO is to confuse but honestly, I would have lost interest by now listening to him. Plus watching AM rock back & forth and fake crying--OMG

The prosecutor's questioning was much more understandable and made sense and easy to follow along. IMO
I actually can follow this guy better than the state's attorney. His voice is easy on the ears and his demeanor is calmer JMO.

So how to you go from a light hearted conversation to shooting and killing your wife and son in minutes? This case is mind blowing.

I don't think the defense's argument that there were no "steps" that showed MM and AM's phones moving at the same time holds much merit - as the prosecution is pointing out on redirect, AM's phone wasn't showing any steps prior to 9:02 PM (I believe he had left it at the house during this time). MOO.

ETA: AM's phone didn't show any steps from 8:09 PM until 9:02 PM.
This defense attorney is actually adding good points to the state's case for me. AM's texts and even MM's to her friend are fleshing out in my mind what was going on that day. A couple of times I thought, Ok you just added a smidgen to the state's point of view. AJMO

All of the evidence will be available for the jury in the jury room. They need to be listening closely, not taking notes, I would love to know how many times he called Maggie Babe in messages.

AM's family man mask was removed to reveal the face of a man with no empathy with only one thought, self preservation at any cost.

It's all so tragic. When I was filling in the calls/texts/data points from all three Murdaugh's phones I just got so sad when it all came together as to when their lives ended and by who's hand...in my mind. AJMO

Sadly people do things like this all the time. I heard a commentator on Law & Crime over lunch mention how AM took all of the insurance money from the death of the housekeeper instead of it going to the housekeeper's family. They pointed out that one of the housekeeper's sons is disabled and was ultimately evicted from his home because he didn't have the money to pay to live there anymore. That's just proof to me that AM does whatever it takes to benefit AM. MOO.
