A side note regarding Maggie's will having her sister's name crossed out and Murdaugh Srs name wrote in not being notarized. In S.C. a notary can notarize family member's signature as long as they do not benefit financially from the document they are notarizing. Ex. my daughter is a notary and was able to notarize the papers to refiance our house. (Papers were mailed to us) I find it interesting with as many connections as Alex had with individuals one would assume were notaries (attorneys, paralegals and bank employees) that the changing of the will was not notarized.
Thanks for your info on family being able to notarize documents for family.

Since the paper was not dated nor signed I am thinking Maggie didn't know about this change nor did AM want her to know. I'm thinking it was part of a scheme but I could be wrong and she may have written it herself.

I know he's already been arrested and held without bail, but I hope every time the sirens fire up outside the courthouse, it feels like a vice.

The accused is sitting rock still today.

I don’t think he has the conscience required to feel those things. I think he’s really, really PO’d that he’s being held accountable though.
Agree! His entire life was without consequence outside the family unit. I'm sure there was great pressure on him to "live up" to the past attorney Murdaughs. Somewhere along the way, maybe even early on, he took "shortcuts" to success. These shortcuts involved criminal activity which likely grew in scope & severity over the years. Because his family was automatically deferred to, they could get away with an awful lot. Whether other family members took this kind of advantage of that, who knows. But AM did. He had no loyalty or ethical fealty to ANYONE, not his clients, his partners, his employees, his co-conspirators or his family. He would happily ruin lives of those that were depending on him.

Noticeable difference in Alex's behavior today. No rocking at all, no sad face. Instead, he is laser focused and looks particularly uncomfortable and upset as this witness testifies.

MOO

I’m responding to your post from the last thread. AM probably can ask Buster if he is okay because he’s playing the part all the way through. He will never admit to Buster or anyone else that he killed his wife and son. Deny deny deny like O.J.

Next up is Chris Wilson -- used to be one of Alex's closest friends I believe.
