I wonder what happened with all of the splatter that we heard so much about when the charges were made?

Does anyone know if Cousin Eddie is on the move? If he's to testify tomorrow (not sure it that's the case) they should have him moving to Colleton County soon. JMO
Believe ole cousin Eddie is tomorrow, should be interesting to watch AM's body language during that.

I would think you would have to have a company that specializes in crimes sceen clean up. It can not just go in a garage.

Thank you. Not entirely clear, but this article about him being awarded the Order of Palmetto in 2018 makes it sound like he was still practicing at the firm at that time. "On Dec. 31, 2005, Randolph retired as Solicitor and also returned to his old law firm to practice with two of his sons. He continues the firm’s tradition started by his grandfather in 1910 of representing individuals and small businesses in their legal needs."

In my experience, being recognized with a "lifetime achievement" honorary is generally something bestowed post-retirement and/or in your later years where the nominating commission works to get to your name before you're deceased. RMIII was age 79 when he received the award, and died 3 years later. JMO

As to the GSR I am convinced AM had the gun/guns wrapped up in the blue tarp/rain poncho and that is why the caregiver mentioned that the ATV had been moved....I believe AM disposed of the gun/guns (or parts as someone else mentioned!) on the Almeda property.

I posted a bit ago about the time from moselle to alameda before showing up with balled up blue tarp/raincoat that he dymped the guns before arrival. When looking at maps I thought he would put them where he could retrieve them, Murdaugh property.

I see AM vacillating between consciousness of guilt and true psychopathy after the murders: During AM's initial interview with investigators, in response to being asked what he and MM argued about, he provided that MM wanted to spend more time at her parents but AM and the boys didn't enjoy going there (never disclosed the location). In testimony today, former law partner Ronnie Crosby stated AM had been staying with MM's parents/family since the murders. Just an observation and MOO.

So is it true that the forged Forge checks made out to Forge, were not really made out to Forge, but to a forged Forge account? Maybe that structured company should change its name.

I would like to know what AM does during the lunch break. Is he allowed to meet and eat with his family and/or attorneys and if so, does a deputy sit in there with them. Does he get non jail furnished food for lunch and if so, who pays for it.

I would like to know who launders his court clothing. Are those clothes his or do they belong to the county.

I would like to know if he is searched (strip or otherwise) when he returns to jail before being returned to his cell.

There is a rumor going around this area that he lunches with his attorneys at the resturant across the street from the courthouse. My reply to the rumor was if that were true surely one of the dozen or more journalists covering the trial would have reported about it by now. This trial is crazy enough without all the rumors floating around

I should have written the blood splatter evidence that was talked about when AM was charged.

Forge Consulting CEO Spooner Phillips said they refuse to let anyone steal the reputation of "professionalism, experience and integrity" they've tried to cultivate since opening in 2003.

“We provide trust and fiduciary services and ‘trust’ is the key word," Phillips said in a statement.

Murdaugh is charged with setting up a fake bank account using the name "Forge," according to court documents. The company says Murdaugh deliberately used their name for legitimacy in his fraudulent transactions.

The company is also accusing Bank of America for taking part in the scheme, saying "if Bank of America had exercised any due diligence even attempting to confirm Murdaugh’s 'Forge' was who he pretended it was."

Tis possible and as mentioned as another sleuth mentioned broken down. AM didn't have a surplus of time during his scatter brained master plan and IMO don't even think he took the time to break them down since he was running around making appearances for the cover story. Personally those things would be like radiation to me and would want to stay as far away as possible but AM may have thought the two killer theory would work giving him time to retrieve them later for a better permanent hiding spot. Going to be someone just on a walk out in the sticks sooner or later who stumbles across them, bodies have been found in the same manner, sad to say.

Dick certainly isn't demonstrating the spunk he's well known for. IMO, he's looking just plain tired.
MOO
He is looking defeated. IMO

RMIII's obituary provides he rejoined the firm in 2006 (1986-2005 Solicitor of the 14th Circuit) but no evidence if/when his law license was ever reported as inactive. Also, not sure when his health problems started but I think he likely stepped back from being active sometime before 2018 when he received the Order of the Palmetto (South Carolina’s highest civilian honor) from Governor Henry McMaster. JMO

There’s a Barbara Mixon posted in the obit as special family member. Is that the same as the one MM was texting earlier before she was murdered?

How silly!

Every day we see him transported to and from jail.

AM was denied bail and remains in custody. He's not free to go anywhere. During lunch, he's taken to a surveilled holding cell inside the courthouse.

Generally, defendants attending a trial at state district court are fed the same lunch as the county jail -- a sandwich, a small bag of cookies, and a small bottle of water, or sometimes the water comes in a bag.

A defendant in US District Court (federal court) is generally provided lunch by the US Marshall's office and typically provides lunch from various local vendors.

But no, AM is not dining across the street at a cafe with his lawyers.

The CEO of #Murdaugh 's former law firm (the one he is accused of swindling millions from) is on the stand. She says Murdaugh was successful
, not because he worked hard but because he could manipulate people into settlements. "It was total bs".

Everyone should take note of how she handled testifying. I love that she kept saying ‘because Alex Murdaugh stole it’

Smith's direct exam by the State. One of the prosecutor's mistakes was that after he got a favorable answer from her, he would try to emphasize what she said by repeating the same question to her. But asking her the same question seemed to cause her to doubt her original answer and she would then back off and say she wasn't sure and so the original favorable testimony was basically blown. This happened several times. The State should know that if they get an answer that they like, they should just move on. Don't try to create drama by getting the witness to repeat the testimony. Argue it all in closing statement! JMO.

That drives me crazy. DH does a thing to the state’s witnesses. He pauses after they answer a question and it has made the witness think their answer wasn’t sufficient or correct.

I thought MM was texting her sister. Just not seeing MM texting with the home health aid (HHA). MOO
