These are two points that the prosecution has made that I still have questions about:
Gucci receipt and the capri sun purchase. Waiting...
Me too. Juicy goosey. Is there actual significance to those purchases?!!!!

We are back. Judge Newman calls back the jury and sustains Meadors' objection of hearsay.

Harpootlian elicits testimony from Simpson that Paul and the Murdaugh family left guns all over the estate, including on golf carts they drove around. She recalls once finding a rifle down by the old hangar where Maggie and Paul were killed.

Glove doesn’t fit moment? Harpootlian asks Simpson about the blue rain jacket that was coated with gunshot residue. She says she has never seen that jacket before. Simpson testifies Murdaugh wore 2XL clothes. The rain jacket was a large.

Simpson testifies the shirt Alex wore at Moselle in the 7:38 p.m. Snapchat video was not the polo shirt he was wearing earlier that morning. Simpson says Alex had clothes at his office and elsewhere if he needed to change.

Simpson testifies about her texts with Maggie on the afternoon of 6/7/21. Maggie was worried about Alex with his father's condition deteriorating, Simpson says. Simpson: Maggie didn't like that it was always Alex who had to handle it if his parents needed something. …

Simpson: Maggie thought Alex's sibling should have been pitching in as well. She was concerned about the lack of rest Alex was getting. Maggie's concerns about going to Moselle that night was about leaving the Edisto house open while she was gone.

Harpootlian establishes with Simpson that Maggie didn’t like staying in Hampton after the 2019 fatal boat crash because she felt people there shunned her. She preferred to be at the Edisto Beach house.

Meadors establishes that Murdaugh changed clothes during the day on 6/7/21, perhaps multiple times, and that some pieces of clothes he wore have since gone missing.

Meadors establishes with Simpson that Murdaugh bought new clothes after the slayings, including a Vineyard Vines shirt. On recross, Harpootlian establishes that Murdaugh lost a dramatic amount of weight after the slayings, so he probably bought new clothes that fit him.

Simpson is done testifying. We are breaking for lunch. Back at 2:15 p.m.

not everyone wears a wedding ring, and they had so much more to do, but the Coroner might have noticed...

But if they don’t wear one, most people don’t keep their wedding bands under the seat of their cars.

I apologize but this is the first time seeing/reading about the case.

All I know is the Alex M allegedly shot his son and wife and this trial is in relation to his guilt or innocence.

What is your collective opinion at this point? Is there enough irrefutable evidence to convict him?

Bianca knows that AM did this, I really think it has hurt her deeply to have to do this and what happened to Maggie. jmo

I wonder if the Solicitor's group, Duffy's crew, on scene the same time SLED was there, were put in charge of watching the house and they watched the housekeeper let herself into the home?

I don't mean to single you out as there have been a few comments saying the same thing to my statement. While I do agree that not everyone wears a wedding ring, the Murdaugh's are upper-class, society people here in Charleston, SC where appearances matter. It would be uncharacteristic for people in their situation and lifestyle to not wear a wedding ring. They could be fighting like cats and dogs and headed for divorce, but until things were finalized they would be all fake grins and smiles in public.

Add to this that Alex told the cops that they had a wonderful marriage a good investigator would notice. ( there is still more testimony to come so perhaps they did notice, however this is the 1st we've heard of this.) I would like to hear if any of their friends knew that MM didn't wear her ring all the time. Whatever the case may be finding someone's wedding ring on the floor of a car is a pretty damning commentary of what she thought of their marriage!

Harpootlian is repeatedly telegraphing that he believes he is losing this case.

Do we have a time of death from the ME?

I just remembered that it took LE a year to unlock Paul’s phone.
Is that when they first saw the video with the “ tree planting”? Or did Paul send to friends?

AM had so much time and opportunity to get rid of evidence. Ugh.

JMO
I thought investigators had access to all PM's apps and info backed up to the cloud and it was only breaking into his instrument (phone) that took a year. But I agree -- AM would have had access to all very early since I'm confident all the phone service was in his name. JMO

I thought that was great, lol like he lost his train of thought and when looking papers still couldn’t get back to what was so important.
I do believe Attorney Harpootlian is off his game.

I think you are right about Maggie wearing her rings most of the time, they are a status symbol.

Did Maggie take off her rings in anticipation of visiting the dirty dog kennels and chicken coop?

Maggie usually left pots on the stove to be cleaned up next day. June 8 Blanca said everything was cleaned up from night before.

She found the pots with lids in the fridge later…unusual.
And the (dirty) dishes typically were left around the living room. I don't think they ate at the dinner table. JMO
