I‘m aware of multiple trials with autopsy photos. Maybe it’s unusual in SC. The ones I’m aware of are kept from the gallery’s view, but not the jurors.

Before today, I kept thinking there’d be a hung jury because of at least one holdout thinking “how could he kill his own son?” It‘s the one thing that I can’t wrap my head around.

But watching AM during the autopsy testimony today, I changed my thoughts. AM was NOT viewing the photographs. Yet he seemed, IMO, sincerely upset and I saw real tears, shaking and other visceral reactions. It made me think he was seeing it in his mind as a MEMORY. I hope the jury saw his reaction that way, also.

And did anyone notice the judge vigilantly watching the gallery during the Dr’s testimony? Has he been doing that all along? What was with that sudden break? Was it to give the jurors some recovery time after the testimony about Paul?

Finally, I got the impression Judge Newman was affected by the testimony. He just didn’t seem like his normal self.

So, help me out on the murder weapons. I know that the rifle is missing, but have LE got the shotgun? Did both weapons go missing?

Yes second by second he could see what he did to Paul.

I don't think he meant for there to be a second shot let alone do to the back of his head like it did. He wasn't prepared for that.

I keep reminding myself how he lured them both there.

I think AM had been planning this... Maybe a last resort, if things escalated over the Beach matter, and then his own financial misdeeds were coming out. The perfect storm, IMO...

IMO, PM had no real aspirations outside of that piece of property, Moselle... He wasn't trying to be a lawyer and carry on the family legacy. IMO, PM had become a liability, and he was MM's baby. If MM had done forensic accounting, she was also a liability. I cannot get past the fact that property had been transferred into her name within the week (in June 2021 prior to the murders on the 7th), and upon her death the property/assets went into an estate that would be probated, and possibly a trust depending on her will.

Also, PM couldn't be the only person murdered at Moselle, especially since PM had not planned to be on the property until he was summoned by his father. MM had not planned to be at Moselle until summoned by PM....

Other than Blanca, we have not heard any other testimony that AM asked PM and MM to come to Moselle. I'm curious to know if there are other witnesses that were aware of AM's request for them to come.

This is all just my speculation and opinion. I haven't had time to be online during the day, but I have been listening to the trial while I work.

Well at sometime AM place him in his kennel.
OR, PM had just kenneled him!! Since that kennel is the closest to PM. Maybe PM had kenneled him, and turned around, and was shot???

I think they were both caught completely off guard. In the video, everyone sounds happy, and basically laid back. They had no clue they were about to be murdered within minutes of each other.... Just so sad.
My heart goes out to Blanca. Who raced over to cook for Paul (and Maggie)... their last supper. And then Alec has the nerve to ignore her genuine grief at the loss of people she genuinely cared for, to "clean up" after him. No doubt he thought he could count on her to further his narrative that Maggie was staying there. He's cruel.

PM would have no reason to kennel Bubba.

I think it's almost a foregone conclusion that Maggie would be taking Bubba to Edisto.

Alec is the only person who needed Bubba out of the way.

Also guilted her too, saying to make it like Maggie would have wanted it. JMO

Yes, that darn alibi that he repeated several times to different people.
As did two of his defense attorneys in the HBO series. I transcribed those interviews-they're pretty clearly contrary to his revised tale.

Do you have a link for this photo? Where did it come from?
Screen capture from the video released today which was published here earlier.

I still want to know if Maggie was wearing her wedding band when LE arrived at the murder scene.

Has always been a question as to motive. Who ultimately knows and why we can only surmise. I don’t know all of the facts or details of this case, but from observation it seems that the son was on the hook for the boat crash, and the wife would have been interested in all financial aspects as well. And with a younger / ‘underage‘ son things were heading to some place where accountability was coming into focus or play. It may not be that simple; but also might not be too complicated? MOO.
