DH is a bumbling mess IMO. He's just trying to intentionally confuse or mistake the evidence. Sorry Dick, not going to work with this witness.

I agree these are the risks, but I do think the defence has a major evidential problem if no witness or evidence can explain his voice on the video.

Of course as is traditional, defence counsel will be given far too much latitude to sock puppet a version not in evidence ... maybe AM was scared to admit that he was at the crime scene before the shootings ha ha wink wink so he just thought he'd lie to investigators about his entire alibi as one does ... but look here is a timeline that magically almost fits ....

... but the evidential problem here is only one witness can come clean about the video and tell the real truth about his movements and if he doesn't do that, i don't see how the defence ever has a credible rebuttal for the idea that the shooter was caught on the video
I agree that’s the most damaging inculpatory evidence the state has. But I think by itself it’s not enough to convict. Clearly he lied. But getting up on the stand and explaining why he lied doesn’t help him imo. Who can believe anything he says?

Do you think it is risky to the defense to have an attorney that comes off as such an insensitive @#$&**? Especially after DH told Tony Satterfield that he had “been made more than whole”, I really can barely stand to look at him or listen to anything he says. Then yesterday, his obviously fake concern for the jury’s health, and his “mistrial!” at every opportunty… The jury members are only human and have to have noticed this arrogant cruelty, which only mirrors AM’s acts… I don’t know, I just wonder if this is very bad strategy. There are ways to cross examine without being detestable.

DH almost tries to appear dumb asking questions hoping the witness will step in it….this ME won’t.

Yes a lying, liar who lies....and steals and schemes and swindles and kills. I'd stay off the stand Alex.

IMO this defense questioning about PM face & head just reminds the jury what horror
his client is on trial for …

Easy, he crouched down and shot from a kneeling position or he shot from the hip.

Another thing I just noticed. Alex says he went to Paul 1st when he pulled up. Why didn't he go to Maggie 1st? She was closer to his truck then Paul was. Her body would have been visible 1st.

Strikes me as desperate moves to confuse the Expert. Harpoo is a Jerk.

I wondered if AM was down lying in wait in a hunter’s stance with gun pointed and ready. (lying on belly with gun propped or on one knee crouch?) Hunters usually stay low and under/ behind cover. Now, this was different than duck hunting, but it may have been ingrained behavior.

I feel for the jury! This is rough testimony and DH makes it tougher. If the jury dislikes DH as much as I would having to put up with his BS, they are not listening to anything he proposes. He’s a “look here, not there”, all smoke and mirrors guy. It gives off a dishonest vibe.

Take out the bigger threat first as they say.

DH. doesn’t want anyone to believe PM looked his father in the eyes as he blew his head off. Gosh knows he could have even yelled Dad at him. How horrifying this all is. What’s his point in all this?

Is DH intentionally making this more gruesome than it already is?

I am noticing that when she is using the pointer to show where she thinks the bullets went AM is paying very close attention to her. imo he's trying to see how much she is on point with her testimony.

One note - I see people calling Dr. Riemer a medical examiner. That's a job title. She is not a medical examiner. She is a forensic pathologist.
