Owen was not the lead investigator on the roadside incident. They can call the other lead, and they should have him introduce AM’s confession and then get out.

Yes, at the hospital after roadside shooting he tested positive for opioids and he did go to a rehab in Florida. I don't know how much of an addiction he had but Maggie's sister did testify that Paul was playing detective trying to catch his dad with pills.

And, IMO, people selling drugs illegally will accept excessive amounts of money when selling drugs on the street if someone is offering excessive money for the drugs.... IMO, there is also an amount of "hush" included in the excessive amount of money....
