Maybe that is why AM turned/lifted Paul’s body, looking for shot shells when phone feel ouf?

I wonder if that's going to be the theory they put forward, maybe even by Alex himself if he testifies. He might say that Paul did it and he was there or came on the scene and lied about everything because he didn't want people to know that his son was a killer (again), so he panicked and invented an alibi that he wasn't there. He cleaned up at the scene and hid all the weapons to protect Paul not him.

Even without the contrary forensics, that would be a tough sell, but wouldn't put it past them. It is slightly better than Jodi Arias's "ninjas did it."
As crazy as that sounds, nothing, would surprise me in this case, NOTHING

Sometime or often, I don’t believe DH even knows the facts and the just stumbles upon what he wants to present. It’s such craziness.

Not trying to be a smartass, but being that AM was a hunter, would he not have been able to shoot more accurately with less shots?

Yesssss!! That pops into my mind every single time they discuss guns and hunting. They shoot dove and quail and I'm guessing you'd have be a decent shot to hit them since they're small and will fly away quickly. And any game that you want to eat you surely don't just willy nilly blasting away at them. MOO

What is the defence lawyer doing! He wants to change where zero degrees is and then claim the angle is 45 degrees rather than 135 degrees?

Doing his level best to try to confuse the jury, I guess.

The defence is trying to convince the jury that this testimony is too complicated for them to understand, so they should ignore it.
The defense tried that with Dr. Reimer, and IMO, the defense failed horribly.

Shooting a human being, especially just after blowing your son's head off, is way harder than a wild animal.

The expert he's dealing with will deal with him, DH is just bumbling off his notes. In reality this witness is darn good at what he does for a living.

DH does this with everything. All the jumble then “you would agree with me…”
It’s ridiculous but it’s his strategy.

Yet they keep re-electing him as their Senator!
The old generation of SC, but not the new progressive Southerners. IMO Hell, Strom Thurmond served as Governor and as a Senator from 1954-2003 when he passed away at 100.

I personally loathe DH and his tactics and the way he is so disrespectful of the witnesses during cross.

MOO

Get that weapon away from him!

How DH can find this amusing is sick!! The judge should not let him continually make jokes and act the fool. Are people in S.C. really in awe of this guy. Laughing again smh
moo
DH is better known as an old school down-and-dirty political operative than as a defense lawyer. Politics get quite dirty is South Carolina behind the scenes, and he was good as what he did. As a Democrat, he would have little to no chance in a statewide election.

The doctor is taking cover. Can't blame him. Where are DH's gloves? I know it's not the murder weapon.

IMO, AM held the shotgun low tilted upwards.... AM has a lot of experience with shotguns. One witness testified that a 12 guage was AM's gun of choice when hunting, IIRC. So, IMO, this would not be hard for AM who is 6'3 or 6'4 (??) to do.

Also, holding it lower would help with keeping GSR from getting on his face and in his hair.

All JMO. I'm not a gun expert.

He probably put the butt in the ground on the second shot to not get bruising on hus shoulder from shooting.
