After posting I thought of something else. I doubt his dad had anything going to Alex or Paul because of the boat case. I'd be willing to bet that he had that will changed because of the pending boat case and any money going to Alex or Paul would be possibly taken in this case. I recall Maggie having things in her name that couldn't be taken in a settlement over the boat case. Maybe this isn't what happened, but this family is all lawyers and smart about hiding/moving/working money to benefit them.
^^bbm

AM likely hoped his fraudulent transfers of their property to MM's would be protected from AM's financial crimes.

Clearly, MM was not exempt from the boat case as her estate was sued by Beach Family in the wrongful death claim and MM's estate is the only party that's settled thus far. Also, Beach released Buster from the suit. AM and the estate of PM are still defendants in the case. MOO

AM was very lucky he didn't end up with some dirty concoction of street drugs that overdosed him.
I apologize for being so mean but IMO, MM and PM were unlucky that he didn't.

Not mean, just a very sad truth, IMO

I've never been able to think of any theory. Perhaps Alex thought of Buster as much less trouble than Paul, and maybe Paul was Maggie's favorite, but that's all I got. Somehow, Alex's mind conceived of killing these two people. I do think that when Alex said "Killer had been thinking about it a long time" he meant, "From time to time, it popped into my head that I wish Maggie were dead...and I wish Paul had never been born and I wish Paul were dead" (and this was accompanied by various violent fantasies.

If most of his anger was directed at Maggie and Paul, then maybe not enough left over for Buster.

All opinion of course.
That’s the feeling I’ve had just watching. I don’t know anything about Buster but personally I can’t imagine the weight of guilt I would feel knowing my dad had killed my mother and little brother. And to realize he did it all for money and drugs would be worse.
The thought that makes me angry is AM using money to buy the amount of drugs and I’m sure trafficking was involved. Somewhere someone has lost a child due to an overdose of drugs and AM should rot because of that!

AM probably had change of clothes in his car. Wash off with hose, put on clean clothes.
Where are the bloody clothes & guns?

So far, the cross seems pretty colorless/lackluster after the states "put you right there during the gruesome double murder" questioning prior to lunch.

Well they are going for the- lack of due diligence approach. You didn’t check this, you didn’t do that- all irrelevant nonsense line of questioning

I think it was simply because Buster wasn’t there. If he had been I think he’s dead too.

From 9:56:57 to 10:06:57 AM's phone shows 231 steps...iPhone data

At 10:00:30 AM's car turns into Moselle...Onstar

So AM is stepping, according to his iPhone at (rounded up 3 sec) 9:57...while he's driving his car still...according to Onstar data?
It’s a range of time. The steps could have been between 10 and 10:07. But remember they said it’s not completely accurate (they may have used the analogy of “cheating” your Fitbit by moving your arms to make it register steps?). IIRC
