Waters has established that the backlight on Maggie’s phone turned off at 9:07 p.m. - right around the time Alex Murdaugh’s SUV drove past the spot on Moselle Road where her phone was found the next day. That seems bad for the defense.

I believe the last two witnesses for the State have been vital to their case - both gentlemen confident and relayed the technical information in a very clear manner. Plus both gentlemen were strong and firm and did not allow the defense to rattle them in any way.

Just listened to a panel including Vinnie P of Court TV on Dr. Phil. I think Vinnie hits the nail squarely here: 3 people arrived at the kennels together on Monday evening and only 1 of the 3 was alive when AM left the kennels.

End of story. AM's pathetic story. JMO

Plus, murder planning and (literal) execution can really rev up one’s appetite!

The killers in the book In Cold Blood are very concerned with eating, after they slaughter a family of four, in Kansas, in 1959. Later, when they are having their last meal, one of them still has a good appetite - the other does not.

I've noticed that in some other cases - I should start jotting it down. It's very possible that in the run up to such terrible crimes, people do not eat/have no appetite, everything is focused on the crime. I'm sure it happens in other stressful events as well.

I think Alex had his mind on fried shrimp and that prime rib and swiss sandwich that Whaley's is apparently famous for.

IMO.
