It’s so obvious that Buster has been coached. He had a long weekend to prepare and memorize key points. He is adding emphasis for the jurors to cling to.

“My Dad was at every game” followed by “he *never* missed one”

“Yes Paul lost track of guns” followed by “he left them *all over* the property”

JG is spoon feeding him.

OK.
Buster no longer gets any slack from me. His demeanor since getting on the stand is so off putting to me. Does not seem even aware that his mother and brother were brutally murdered. I have no doubt he is lying about where they “routinely parked” by coincidence whenever they visited Almeda at the exact same time AM showed up on June 7th.

Got your Murdaugh-English dictionary handy?

Scuff about it = it being operating a boat under the influence, resulting in the death of a young woman

So minimizing.

Makes me sad.

I'm about ten minutes behind...could JG be any more awkward in his questioning of BM. MO

Wow…none of us thought Paul was driving the boat???

The lack of eye contact with the jury to reinforce your replies to questions asked is noteworthy, BM's lack of that is as well.

  • #752
AM was deleting BM's texts also...what is up with that?

This testimony is off and besides the obvious creepy way that Alex is grinning and looking and Buster is shifty and to me looking not nervous in general about testifying, it seems to me he is trying to say the right thing vs just recalling the truth.. more trying to recall what he's supposed to say.

When he was asked if there was ever any violence he looked down shook his head no as he said no sir.

When asked about the pills that answer was interesting. He didn't know about any recent confrontations? With all that calling they did and talking every single day, multiple times a day and in a month nobody mentioned to him that mom found bags of pills. He was downplaying that a lot I think.

In BM's defense (and it makes me ill even just typing this) I understand what he us saying about which door you use at your grandparents and that it might change.
My own grandmothers house, for example, when it comes to family get togethers some of use the front door, some of use the backdoor and some use the side entrance.
I still do not think AM was 'visisting' his mother that night, but I do understand what he is saying about the parking/entrance information.

I am late to the party this morning. Any reason for me to go back and watch Buster on the stand? Tia

Can’t the case be made about addicts going to extremes to feed their addiction? It’s not far fetched at all, people do murder for money to get their fix. Rationality goes out the window for an addict.

If they are going to drive the opioid addiction Waters should talk about an addicts desperation.

Sure. Paul wasn’t driving. And the young girls life wasn’t worth 40 million? Sickening testimony from Buster. moo
