He wants to disqualify the witness.

This man is virtually a Swiss Army knife when it comes to being an expert. DH certainly got his $$$ worth. He can baffle you with bs on a variety of subjects. Trajectory of bullets, thrown cell phones, sound waves, etc etc
Hack of all trades

I thought Dr. Reimer said she only dealt in bodies and just talked about how the bullets went through their bodies. It was Kinsley that had to use the protractor and mentioned the 135 degrees and DH was the one who turned that into 45 degrees since he said they are basically the same thing. Moo

Just watching the defenses hocus pocus expert , no.

Money talks. The state is asking good questions without being obnoxious.

I just got back. I began to scroll through the posts here for Sutton as a witness to determine key points to watch on the video feed, but then I just kept scrolling and scrolling faster and faster until I was skipping along so I didn't have to listen to this witnesses' nonsense. Whew! I'm tired from speed scrolling.

On the positive side I now have more free time!

Thank you to those of you who sat watching it in detail so the rest of us didn't have to.

Regarding the quail. I believe that many hunters raise quail to train their bird dogs in SC. Maybe that is why they had them in a pen. They teach the dogs to stop and point the birds in the grass, to not harm them and once they are shot to retrieve them with a soft mouth. That's my understanding.
So, they shoot them and then retrieve them and then they put the injured quail back in the pens? But the dogs don’t harm them after they have been shot and rendered injured but not quite dead. Because the dogs have a soft mouth technique. Party time. Geez.

Hope they stay healthy.
Amen.
We went from 3 to 2 this morning.
Lost 2 to Covid last week and I forget the first one’s reason.

Good cross, thus far, imo.

Exactly as I predicted. Alex did not fire those rounds. Science.
It's laughable because tall people can manipulate their height in many ways by kneeling, squatting, laying down, siting on something, leaning on something, bending over, etc. Based on Maggie's wounds not appearing to come from a shooter that actually knew what he was doing, I'm going to guess that whoever was shooting was not holding the gun up and aiming as one normally would in the position one normally would when firing a rifle. So to have this analysis saying it was a person exactly this tall is ridiculous.. the angles that Paul was shot from shows that the person wasn't standing up firing straight on. So now he is analyzing Maggie's wounds as if the shooter was standing up.

No, they use theirs to train the dogs, then they hunt for wild quail with the dogs. I guess I didn't explain it very well.

This is an interesting cross on the issue of when AM’s car passed the area where MM’s phone was found. Prosecutor held firm! :)
