I think Alex is going to be going over his story tonight.. over and over and just maybe what he says tomorrow will be overthought after all this today. If he's over analyzing what questions he is asked about the night of the 7th, it's going to look really bad for him. Well even worse than it already looks.. lol I like that he has the night to sleep on it. I bet he won't get a wink of sleep.

Loved the way the staff ushered him out so there was no chance of him talking to his attorneys.

He didn't make many friends of SLED agents today. He ain't gettin any special privileges for a loong time.

I agree. And the way Waters is handling this cross is wearing on me. I wonder if it's wearing on the jury too.
It's probably breaking their hearts.

Should have called them before AM today if they are so expensive, they would be on their way home tonight! I love that Judge blows DH off so many times!
Exactly!

AM did a good job showing the jurors how all those millions he stole from injured clients were just files and case numbers.

He showed them the real Alex, and not the phony husband of "Mags", and the father of "Bus," and "Paw-Paw." JMO

but what is he on trial for now? murder...why are they trying his financial crimes here?
Because the jurors need to see how totally immoral and heartless he was---he was stealing from orphans, the disabled, grieving mothers----and lying to their faces pretending to be their friend. It is important for the jury to understand how cold hearted and greedy and selfish he is.

Otherwise it is hard to believe he could kill his family.

What a slimy attempt by DH! Glad judge isn't buying it. Tells DH he can call his two surprise witnesses after Waters finishes cross.

What? I missed that

Maybe the new pathologists are going to say the bullet wounds prove the assailant was really really tiny

Tiny heart, no empathy, short of character= AM

Since AM is in the middle of testimony, am I correct in thinking he will not be able to confer with his lawyers tonight and tomorrow morning before he returns to the stand? Or is it permissible for DH and JG to advise him?

What about the STEALING?
Don’t you know AM is an upstanding citizen??? He would never lie, steal or kill. I hope the jury is seeing through his crap.

Slowly pulling the sheep's wool off the wolf it has concealed for years.
Judge Newman asked the state how much longer is this is going to go on. Waters says three or four hours. Excellent!!! Three more hours of twisting the screw!! lol :D;)

It’s not a complete train wreck for Alex but CW has established that AM is an accomplished liar who shows little to no remorse for his thievery. Those points have been well made - time for CW to move on the meat of this prosecution.

And you can bet that tomorrow morning Alex is going to have ‘a specific story’ ready to tell, describing in detail about a time he felt bad for pulling one over a client of his. JMO
He has No Heart either. He didn't care one bit that his thievery was hurting people, even taking away any chance at a comfortable life. When he stole from the Satterfield boys, they had no money to pay to stay in their Trailor, and were Evicted, thrown out on the street. Psychopathy in so many ways. He must be removed from Society altogehter! MOO

I feel like the prosecutor let Alex rammble on and on a little too much with his answers. How many times did Alex not directly answer the question but instead just say "and I'm sorry". Alex is as munimpulative as they come IMO. What a monster!

For me, one of the most interesting points of AM's testimony today was when he said "I did 'em so bad" (I'll have to see if I can go back and find the exact phrase but it was almost verbatim what the prosecution alleges he said in his interview with LE) in relation to stealing from his clients. I was surprised CW didn't pick up on that.

Because his lawyers brought it into the case.

Standing over an ant hill with his magnifying glass...smiling the whole time.

The court is currently in recess until Friday morning. Recess is recess -- just like lunch recess where attorneys can confer with the client.
