The defense is done questioning Eisenstat. Prosecutor Savanna Goude is now cross-examining him. She notes he was actually here Friday, meaning he is getting paid $5,500 for that too. That means he will make more than $10,000 just for appearing in court two days.

Goude asks Eisenstat: If Paul’s head wound was an entry wound, and shotgun pellets expand, why would the exit wound through Paul’s neck be so small? E: Pellets would have only traveled about a foot before exiting through Paul’s neck, so they would still be close together.

Goude asks how blood spatter got onto the feed room ceiling and the top of the door and wall if Paul was shot directly in the head from a downward angle. Eisenstat says the pressure and force of the shotgun blast essentially cased Paul’s head to explode, ejecting matter upward.

That is all for Eisenstat. The defense's 13th witness is Tim Palmbach, a crime scene analyst from Connecticut.

does anyone know what they originally thought this was a murder-suicide?

DH found this guy with similar credentials to Dr Reimer, paid him a boat load of money to come up with an opinion contrary to Dr R’s. Problem is, it doesn’t make any sense, even to regular folks like us. It’s kinda pathetic, this guy selling his reputation for a buck. I would love to see he and Dr Reimer up there together debating this. I’d put my money on Dr R.
DH trying to buy a verdict.
And Dr R is not going to say a gunshot wound was” BEAUTIFUL “ imo

Help my memory. I can't hear Dr. Henry Lee's name without thinking of his spitting catsup. What trial am I remembering. It was well-discussed here on WS.

As the self appointed attorney for Bubba and the chicken I will be filing a cease and desist order on behalf of the chicken participating in a rolling drunken vehicle. The chicken is clearly underage per the Farmers Almanac chicken life expectancy estimates of 3-7 years. The RDV(rolling drunken vehicle) is in violation of SC 61-6-4260, supplying alcohol to a minor chicken.
(The Ninja Oompa Loompas did it.)

The Defense’s pathologist (Eisenstat) said the blood spatter at top of door was blowback, but the LE official (Kinsey, I think was his name) who reconstructed the crime scene from viewing the scene with knowledge of autopsy results said there were multiple pellet indents in the steel door. No way would those indents up there be from blowback; they were pellets ending their path from being shot out of the gun.

Had it not been for the chicken, AM might never have spoken during PM's video at the kennels proving AM lied about his alibi. Had it not been for the chicken, AM may not have been charged with murder

AM has access to innumerable guns, evidently.

Why would he choose a shotgun with bird pellets? (or the 5'2" mystery assassins. Is that what they use on "hits"?)

Seems messy and inefficient for a kill.

I don't know that they totally thought it was, I think it was a scenario they needed to rule out and finding 2 people shot in an isolated area like that they were looking under Paul to make sure there was no gun he fell on (suggesting he killed Maggie and then himself). No guns at all on the scene would immediately point them away from that scenario, unless a 3rd person came along and tamered with the crime scene and took the guns away.

Micheal Peterson -The Staircase. Lee argued that her coughing blood tripping down her face could have made the blood spatter on the wall though no blood was found in her nose, mouth or lungs.

Do those pellets come out in a triangle shape, or a cone shape? Seems like he's living in flatland.
