Oooooooo something just coalesced for me.

In the Greene bodycam, Alec takes his shirt from his belly up to wipe his face.

The blood spatter analysis. Blood spatter, no spatter.

It looked like the Shroud of Turin to me.

This is what I think happened!!:

Alec did get blood all over himself. I think he hosed off, stripped down at the kennels, dressed in whatever he could find as soon as he could find it. Maybe even a second hosing-down in the Moselle shower.

I wish LE had swabbed his nostrils and ears!!!!

IMO after Alex hosed himself off, showered, redressed, Alex blew ugly snot. And wiped it onto his shirt.

IMO there was blood in his nose.

This is good

Media fueled rumors about the boating accident.... John Marvin says it was "blown out of proportion". Really? A young girl died. This whole family just wants to excuse their bad behavior. John Marvin is coming across as a slick Murdaugh through and through. JMO

John Marvin's finding Maggie's phone story is very fishy.

Totally. And he "remembered" to suggest a find-my-friends app even though he doesn't really use a phone, and coincidentally AM mentioned it on the stand a day ago.

They cannot reopen doubts that SLED investigated every possible avenue, that was established before.

Didn't the inital testing they did on that shirt suggest it was blood? Am I remembering that wrong or did that come up? Later tests showed it was not?

so if those giving an update had only the first test results, then how is it lying if that is what they believed when they gave the info?

This seems to be why police don't give updates on active cases. Things change and it doesn't mean one has to be lying or intentionally misleading anyone, but when people press for updates and that is the info you have at the time, is it really lying if later that turns out to be not true?

This is problematic for the prosecution

First let me say that I do not know how anyone in the Murdaugh family could have sat through the trial or given a moment’s thought to the new timeline AM has given and not at least give serious consideration to the possibility that AM is guilty.

Second, I have family members that weren’t always on the right side of the law -though never to the extent of murder - and I watched other family members turn a blind eye to any evidence of their behavior for many years before they were able to admit that their child or sibling did what they were accused in one situation or another. So I get the tendency family has to defend one another and close their eyes to the possiblity of a loved one doing something so horrible.

Third, despite any and all questionable or unethical or illegal activity surrounding the family or the law firm, I feel sorry for all of them. Whether AM is convicted or not, their lives have forever been changed. The family has lost 2 loved ones and the partners careers have been forever tarnished by the association with AM. And whether AM is guilty or not or whether they believe he is guilty or not, does not change any of that.

His name is John Marvin Murdaugh. Marvin seems to be a middle name.
No, it’s a double name. They are very common in the South. I went to college in NC and there were so many double named people. It’s a mouthful but you have to say both names.

I hope the defense back-dooring in the blood spatter info is going to make the prosecution "go medieval" on rebuttal.

A coat no one recognizes from "back on the property" or in a junk closet, which had GSR but no blood splatter, tissue, bone, hair on it.

THIS is the state's evidence? It relates to nothing.

SLED left brains and pieces of skull at the scene? Dear Me.

Seems several people, including JMM's LE buddy, thought this was related to the boat accident.

MMs phone was 1/2 mile from house.

oozing with reasonable doubt.

If I recall correctly, I believe this is also what they told the grand jury (which turns out was not factual). Also, telling a family member something like that when in turn, was not factual is another issue. This ruling was a huge win for the defense unfortunately.

This has probably already been discussed...I keep expecting a GF/Mistress to pop up...not enough evidence? Can't prove relevance?

SLED came to serve a search warrant, but Alec gave consent to search so they didn't execute it and John Marvin the handy brother volunteered to escort the agent around the house.

I’m sorry but JM presents like the goodie sibling that tattles on everyone & everything.
And gmab that JM called this law enforcement FRIEND to follow him or called his solicitor investigator FRIEND. I mean a juror can’t relate to THAT, can they?
Privilege.Connections.Control. Circle the camp. Talk. Talk your way out of it until it is -your story- .
Just the way JM says “SLED”. With total distain.
And clothes. What is it about this M family that they loose & then find extra fresh clothes everywhere. Kinda weird that JM was trying to help PM to be responsible …but PM left his clothes on the floor at JM house and JMs wife washed & folded them. Of course.
