I think every rebuttal witness had a good reason for being called and it was either to show Alex was still lying on the stand. I mean I guess come jurors could have heard him and thought, oh yes now he's truthful.. so showing he was STILL lying on the stand is important and well within reasonable. How many people did he try to throw under the bus trying to make himself sound innocent?

Yes, I had the blue light but the sheriff said I could. That is tarnishing that sheriff and I am glad the state called him. Alex has no right to do that to innocent people just so he can seem like less of a devil.

He said everyone was just mistaken about what he said or did to try to sway their version for the police. Now they aren't lying, but just didn't remember it like he did. Please.. he was lying before he murdered his family, he lied to police about his alibi, lied to every person that he claims to love.. friends, family, partners at the firm about where he was, while he was getting the sympathy and special treatment because poor Alex lost his wife and son and had to see them like that.. well HE DID IT! HE caused it and now he wants to say he wasn't trying to manipulate people after the fact.

I get that this trial is about the murders, but his character became target #1 when he took the stand. He had a right to remain silent but instead he tried to smooth talk his way out of this like he has done for every other evil deed he was caught committing.

RE: unqualified expert witness.. I really think the point was the person they had testify that her phone would have done XYZ can't be seen as 100% fact either. Truth is that phone may have turned on when it was tossed, it might not have, but to say it 100% would have so it can't be Alex that tossed it is not true. This is what the defense wants the jury to believe.
JMO and calling it like I see it......

I’ve made comments both ways but I remain in the “wants the truth” camp
Sadly, I don't think this trial is going to give us the truth. :(

I don’t think most of us are pro prosecution. Most of us know every detail of this case and are anti- family annihilating narcissistic lying thief.
BAM!!
BAM!!!!
BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMO it has. The defense questioning why a thermometer temperature check wasn't done if I remember correctly.
No, that was more to just show how SLED botched the original investigation. Which I completely agree with.

There hasn't even been a definitive time of death. They speculate based on lack of cell phone activity which in all likelihood, is correct but that is simply their theory.
Which the defense doesn’t dispute. At least not yet.

I find this witness’ demeanor so likable

That was not my impression and thus the reason for my opinion.

It's a wild case. So many twists and turns along the way.

but do you think the Pros has proved their case so far?
Neither Reisch on CrimeTalk ( earlier today0 & Tragos on LawyerYouKnow ( as of Day end Day 25th) don't think they have
I do, yes. Because I cannot come up with any other plausible theory and the motive does make sense to me, we’ve seen the same motive over and over in family annihilator cases. Regardless they don’t have to prove motive.
I do think there’s a high possibility of a hung jury and there are a lot of things I wish the prosecution would have done differently. I also think DH and JG are excellent at their jobs. I hope this man doesn’t walk on these charges, but he may and I can understand why.

100% I think they have. The kennel video lie and surrounding lies erase reasonable doubt for me. if innocent, Alex has zero reason to lie about being there he could have easily said they were fine at the kennels when I left to go to my mothers. Why lie about that specific time frame? He knew that is when they were killed. Defense has not presented anything to me that provides reasonable doubt, their own expert witnesses contradicted themselves.

Jury going to Mozelle property should stay til dusk to see how scarey the place would be when ‘family’ was down there before slaughter.

I think before you form an opinion you should learn more details about the case. All of those above questions have been answered and do not exonerate AM.
