I’m so glad to see this! I was so unsure how the jury would vote! The media made it sound like the State didn’t do their job. Justice for Maggie and Paul!

My heart sinks for Buster though. He’s got a hard time ahead of him.

<modsnip: not victim friendly> I’m so relieved that Paul’s phone video provided the most solid evidence to get justice for him
and his mother.

Just “got real” for AM, as set up by Meadors earlier today; but, I still have a very, very, very heavy heart; 2 innocent people died at the hands of their husband and father. No more bike rides for Maggie. No more messin’ with Bubba for Paul. Bless you Blanca and Bubba. AM has been silenced for eternity, his eyes went dark when he was told to rise - horrifyingly dark - like the darkness that overcame Maggie’s and Paul’s cell phone screens when they were blindsided by the person they trusted the most.

Get here when you can just follow the strobe lights and sleuths dancing on the roof of the cars.
Don't think I'll need directions!
Where did you get the eggs? Were you on the panel?
:)
Aldi. I live in Alabama -- south of Birmingham!
Everyone head over to the rail car for night cap. lol
Nightcap -- heck! We're just getting this party started! Oh, I'd better just plan on making my deviled eggs on board. (Otherwise, I may not make it!) At the next whistle stop, I'll be waiting with a wheelbarrow full of many one-dozen cartons of eggs (in honor of the chicken, and the 12 jurors, who gave so much to this endeavor).

Given everything, the Murdaugh household must have been horrible to grow up in. Were Buster and Paul given love and respect? Growing up with lies will suck the life out of you. Yes, Paul's actions were horrible but I think he suffered. JMO.

The prosecution was a great team and I’m thrilled for them too …

Yay! As I waited, I was preparing myself that at least one might be swayed. Reminding myself of those that are guilty yet walk away. Watching Buster's face, I was sad for him. Does he believe in his dad's innocence? The judge said overwhelming evidence to confirm the jury's decision. I'm sure he can't wrap his mind around this. How could he? I can't. I'm thankful I can't. I don't want empathy for this kind of thing. Well done to all the prosecutors, their staff, Judge Newman, and his staff. Best run trial I have seen in a while. I am beyond thrilled that justice is served.

Pro Tip: if you are innocent of a crime, say so right away. Say it over and over. Don't say anything else.

Just maintain your innocence. And if you ever get on the stand, have that be the first thing you say.

IMO.

Court TV showed the jurors ???
When they were escorting AM out..
The camera showed them all sitting there.
Was that a mistake?
Yes, I saw that, not good

As a mom, my heart still breaks for Buster right now.
But this is the best thing that could have happened in this case for him. He needs to know it's okay if he believe his dad did it or if he had any knowledge of it, was intimidated, threatened, bribed or otherwise coerced to lie for his dad that he is now truly safe. He won't be out and he won't have to look over his shoulder because I don't for a moment believe Alex wouldn't have eliminated him as well if it would have benefited him.

My husband is working and I texted him “Murdaugh is guilty” and he replied “Totes” lol! I had to clarify that it’s official now.
Okay ... I'll admit it -- I don't get out much. What is the meaning of "Totes"?

Thank you jury. You knew what you were doing.
Thank you Bubba! I think you knew what you were doing too. Hope Mz Shelly serves a nice streak dinner for you both, and pops a bottle of bubbly for herself!

How long were they deliberating? I took my dog for a walk and mad dinner and BAM!
I wonder who will speak tomorrow?
2 hours and 50 minutes
