Was Randy there ? Didn’t see him…..
Randy may have sat behind him during the trial for Buster's sake and to project family unanimity. However, I suspect that Randy knows his brother is guilty although he'll probably never say it publicly. Unlike the other family members, Alex actually stole from him personally (probably while looking him in the face and lying). Randy has also had to make clients whole by repaying them out of his own pocket.

Once the jury delivered the verdict there was no reason to keep up the act. Not only was Randy not at sentencing, his law firm put out a statement saying that Alex received a fair trial. It was a very carefully worded statement, as you'd expect from a bunch of lawyers, but I'm sure it could only have been written with Randy's approval and input.

Am I missing the defense press conference? Ive been streaming WLTX, but nothing yet.
I think they keep postponing it. Probably fine tuning their spin, imo

What’s the deal with Buster gambling at his fathers urging? I missed that part -

He and JM went to Vegas for the weekend after the side of the road incident. I think JM was trying to get Buster out of town.

So, a lot of those youtube lawyers were way wrong, weren't they?!?!

And most of us here on WS were right. I just want to take a moment to relish that fact.

Story by Lindsay Weinberg • 1h ago

The former South Carolina lawyer, who was recently found guilty of murdering his wife and son, received consecutive life sentences for his crimes, judge Clifton Newman declared on March 3.

The sentencing comes a day after a jury found that Murdaugh was guilty on two counts of murder and two counts of possession of a weapon while committing a violent crime in the slaying of wife Maggie Murdaugh, 52, and son Paul Murdaugh, 22, at their Moselle estate on June 7, 2021.

If you guys were jurors, would you talk to the media?
Oh I don’t know! I’d want to do so probably, but I would also would have a healthy fear of the remaining Murdaugh family, so I’d probably want to do it anonymously or not at all.

It seemed like a confession when he admitted to the judge that he saw his wife and son, all day and all night, everyday.
I thought so, too.

Judge Newman would be a popular commencement speaker for any university. Moo

Isn't Randy the big guy in the glasses arriving with the family?
