The information I got from a local TV station was the judge ruled the trial could not be livestreamed and any video information could not be released until 30 minutes later.
How that affects possible streaming directly from the courthouse I don’t know.
I sure would like to see it.
thanks me too, it took so long to charge them I hope they have enough evidence to convict

...snipped to reply... Here is how to watch the Vilardi trial and general sessions in Anderson County:
Where to Watch the Vilardi Trial (Feb 2026)
WSPA 7NEWS: Local coverage is expected, with reports that updates will be available through their station. WYFF News 4: Providing coverage of the pretrial arguments and the trial.
  • FOX Carolina: Reported on the case and pretrial motions.
  • Streaming/Online: High-profile trials in South Carolina are sometimes streamed on the South Carolina Judicial Branch’s Video Portal, although specific trial coverage depends on the judge's orders.

Thank You both for the info. BBM Not finding any live stream, so I guess the Judge might've made that ruling. I wish we could see it too. (Court TV is covering the Kouri Richins Murder Trial, and I was hoping they'd cover some of this trial too.)

The trial of a South Carolina woman accused of murdering her family began on Monday with opening statements.

Amy Vilardi and her husband, Rosmore "Ross" Vilardi, were arrested in 2023 and each charged with four counts of murder in connection with the gruesome 2015 massacre.

The couple — who are being tried separately — is accused of murdering Amy's mother, Cathy Scott, 60, and stepfather, Terry Michael Scott, 59, as well as Amy's elderly grandmother Violet Taylor, 82, and 80-year-old step-grandmother Barbara Scott.

FOX Carolina was the only media present during Amy Vilardi’s pre-trial hearing last week, where her attorneys asked the judge to throw out several key pieces of the state’s case, including warrants to go through her home and cell phone. However, much of their argument centered on a financial expert.

Amy Vilardi’s attorneys said the expert started connecting financial records to the crime, which the defense argued he was not qualified to do. Prosecutors said the expert would testify about Amy and Ross Vilardis’ finances and more than $80,000 in cash found inside their trailer that investigators said came from victim Michael Scott’s safe.

The judge denied all of the defense’s requests.

Fox Carolina is usually good and in depth covering local trials like this.
They will be my go-to for information.

There must be a dozen outlets and YT hosts covering Kouri Richins trial, and add Nick Reiner's hearing today and news of UK arrests of the former Prince Andrew, and former ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson, etc., and court news programs are stacked!

Reportedly, Fox Carolina was the only news outlet at the Anderson courthouse today. I'm hoping they are the pool camera, and were granted permission to at least upload the opening statements later today. However, I understand there is no live streaming of the actual trial by any network.

Admittedly, I was watching Richins today, and didn't expect AV's jury selection to be as efficient today, and had no opportunity to try the Court's virtual courtroom link.

I briefly tried the court room video and it required you to download an app. I didn’t get past that part because I was in the middle of something. I will try tomorrow.
