HCPD search for missing teen near Socastee​

Horry County Police are looking for a missing teen.

Trevor John Innis, 18, was last seen around 1:30 a.m. near Chamberlin Road off of Bay Road near Socastee.

He is about 6’2”, 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes and last seen wearing a green shirt with black Adidas shorts.

Anyone with information about his location is asked to contact HCPD at 843-248-1520.

Search underway on Waccamaw River for missing Horry County teen

Community members in the Island Green, Myrtle Beach Golf & Yacht Resort and Cypress River neighborhoods are asked to check their surveillance cameras for any sign of Innis.

HCPD is also searching the Waccamaw River, which they said is protocol for any investigation in close proximity to a water source.

My friend lives in the neighborhood. It doesn’t sound optimistic there will be a happy ending on this one but I hope the rumors are wrong.

UPDATE:
Trevor’s remains were recovered earlier this week.
This is, of course, not the conclusion anyone was hoping for. Our thoughts are with his family in this awful time.
