so they need to speak to the foreman and find out why he believes it is now hopeless they will come to a verdict, and what specifically is he claiming are the "issues" of the holdout, it would need to be some proof that he is not deliberating in good faith.

im not sure what the court is allowed to do precisely here, hopefully they have options.

Thought it was a white man. I think the only black man is the foreman.
